This just in: David Lynch has agreed to direct, on the condition that the setting is moved to Gary, Indiana and Kyle MacLachlan plays Chewbacca.

Unfortunately for audiences, for the sake of artistic integrity, Ant Man is being shot on 0.5mm film, and will not be visible to the general public, even at the time of its release.

Anyone seen the episode of Misfits, where she's a crazy religious conservative who controls peoples' minds?

I'm sad that Polica haven't been getting mentioned anywhere… I saw their entire set and I thought it was fantastic, but I really haven't seen coverage of it anywhere.

The thing about TDKR (which I loved, by the way, its many plot holes included) is that Nolan uses approximately a zillion different genres as touchstones — he doesn't go for normal "superhero movie" route. Whether this improved it, by making it more unique and expansive, or hurt it, but making it confusing and less

I'm keeping hope alive that they put together the trailer so it would seem like a centuries-spanning love story in order to sell the movie, rather than actually adding that to the movie.

I thought it started a little slow (I had already seen the plane hijacking, and I wish I hadn't, because I would have gotten much more excited much more quickly). It kept building and building steam, though, and I was totally involved by the end.

I'm still wishing for a Nicolas Winding Refn-directed movie about Gordon's days as a beat cop. Most of the movies have made Gotham City more interesting than Batman himself, so why not ditch him, and focus on what makes the city tick? It would be a disaster commercially, of course, but it would be amazing to watch.
