The 'obvious' reason to me is that we read left to right, but the fact that R->L readers still think of motion the other way is kind of interesting. Although the reason appears to be "because it is".

Another comment said there was in pre-Trebek days.
Her voice started sounding more and more like she was pleading with Alex to spare her life. Very hard to watch because I would probably sound exactly the same in her shoes.
I've been in this scenario, trying to win over a few people who weren't a fan of the show, and 'Bums: Making a Mess All Over The City' was successful. All plotlines are great, especially Charlie's.
At the time I saw that episode, I didn't know Always Sunny had never won an award, so that level went 100% over my head. They were really riding the shit out of that joke and I completely missed it, and it was *still* an entertaining episode.
Jon Bois is THE funniest internet writer out there (sorry Sean). I don't even care about sports but I'll read anything he makes.
Snopes says no.
Bart: Hmm, looks like we're out of corn pone, fat back, hard tack, fat pone, corn tack…
Nelson: Any tack back?
Bart: Tack back!?
Nelson: I mean…back tack.
Bob's Burgers scratches that itch for me. Hard not to be happy with that show on.
It's a shirtwaist company, owned by a certain industrious feline…
Man, I thought the header picture was from Beakman's World. There's a show I don't see referenced enough.
22 Jump Street was a step down but still damn funny.
…I think you mean Bob Ross, and I don't know anyone who considers him uncool.
Spoilers!
Women get shots of silicone(?) in their ass to make them bigger.
And 'blow my groceries' just entered mine. One man's trash..
It's also that the 'mean to normal, uninteresting character' trope has been done to death so much in the last few years of television. I thought Jerry-hate on Parks and Rec and Toby-hate on The Office were funny for a while, but they got old as well.
I'm not sure that urinating and ejaculating count as 'working two jobs'.
His smile in that picture is almost a perfect tilde.
I would be more than happy to put up with some Fruitopia, if anyone has some laying around.
