I think it's fucking awful.  I mean, Generations was awful but there were at least a few redeeming qualities, at the very least seeing Shatner in it and the nice way it was shot.  Insurrection was just bland story that had been done more than once in TNG already, horrible corny jokes, completely stupid plot

Yeah, nothing angers me as much as Nemesis.  My friend and I almost just walked out of that movie (and as a Star Trek fan that was just unheard of!  I sat through all of STIV).  But I think Insurrection gets off easy because Nemesis is so awful.  Insurrection is still really bad, in my opinion.

I felt that way when I first watched it.  But then upon thinking about it for even a few minutes, it was just as infuriating.  Even just some of the goddamn lines - "Lock and load," "I'm a floatation device," "Have you noticed your boobs firming up" - piss me off.  The idea that a few hundred people at most were more

Beat me to it!  Good job

Saturday, Donny, is the Bajoran Time of Cleansing. That means that I
don't work, I don't pilot a roundabout, I don't fucking ride in a shuttle, I don't
handle money, I don't turn on the replicator, and I sure as shit don't
fucking roll!

I told that kraut a fucking thousand times that I don't roll on Ha'Mara!

You want a trill? I can get you a trill, believe me. There are ways, Dude. You don't wanna know about it, believe me. Hell, I can get you a trill by 0600 this afternoon… with a host. These fucking amateurs…

This is what happens when you phaser a stranger in the assimilation tubule!

Clearly you have a short memory.  No way it's worse than Angel One, Code of Honor, Skin of Evil, The Outrageous Okona, Shades of Grey, The Child, Haven, Lonely Among Us, The Naked Now, Sub Rosa, Masks, the one with the Space Irish…

I got into TOS because when I was about 4 my dad would tape the 11pm showings so I could watch them the next day.  The first one I watched was The Menagerie.  My dad still claims TOS was the only "real" Trek.  This is probably based on the fact that he watched TNG in its first season.  I remember being 6 when it first

FUC

Both episodes this week are actually pretty good.  It's a Christmas miracle!

I don't know.  Depends on contracts and stuff like that, but reviews are all citing Jesus as being the weakest link.  He's got the personality and delivery of a coffee table most of the time.  (The last 1/3 of the episode he DID show some real promise, though.)  I like this idea that the machine is bigger than just

Opinions are like assholes.

I'd direct the same comment to "Muffins" here that I did to that dude above; did you read the review or just look at the grade?  Do you understand a grading system or are you just a grown retard?  Did you actually debate or make a comment on why you felt this episode was "crummy" or just come here to be an asshole?

I am sick to fucking death of cunts complaining about the grading here. It's done on Ebert's scale most of the time - is this episode good/bad COMPARED TO THE REST OF THE SHOW'S OUTPUT?  And this episode was the best one so far.  That last scene pushed this one up to almost very good from the mediocre the show has

Interesting bit of TNG/Doctor Who trivia
Apparently, Davies wrote the (rather excellent) Doctor Who episode "Midnight" after being fascinated with the premise of "Darmok." The funny thing is, he'd never seen the episode; he was so fascinated just with the synopsis that he didn't want to actually ruin it by watching

Redemption
Two of the good early Moore Klingon episodes, which expanded the Klingon mythos within TNG nicely. Not the most memorable season ending/beginning two-parter (but what would be after the previous season's) but pretty solid, at least for Part I. Except for my biggest gripe, which is Sela. I never liked
