I don't like "Identity Crisis" that much. I rewatched it not long ago and it isn't great. Isn't terrible, but isn't great.

Do you think the holodeck would have to have some sort of limiting program on it? The holodeck just by itself is creepy. I can't imagine they'd allow it to be used to fuck holo-babes and holo-dudes. But I can't imagine there being a reality in which something like the holodeck existed where that wouldn't happen.

Even based on her psych profile, the holodeck isn't going to create something relatively exact. I mean, it missed the fact that she was married (perhaps the psych profile was outdated?). And you just *know* Geordie went back in there after that Booby Trap episode was over and visited her more. I see where you're

"One of the few rare Whoopi Goldberg props"

I actually love that episode. I LOVE "New Vertiform City." The episode on its own isn't that great, but I love the weird holodeck stuff, like the guy trying to deliver the brick and Lebowski making Worf shovel coal.

Was that in the (SPOILERS) Wesley becomes a Native American/shaman episode? I actually remember liking that episode, though I think it is derided around these parts.

Well, I hate to say it's never actually happened, really. My current girlfriend (who isn't really fat but who does like cats, so you were close) looks at those mittens all the time but won't buy them; I commented that they were good mittens in that she could give me a handy and not have to take the mittens off.

The computer does become sentient - or at least it poops out some sentient bendy-straws in the last season I think.

The clicking was creepy. But yeah, that table thing was silly. They weren't even painting a good word picture. "It was at an angle." That's fine. But then suddenly they say, as you say, "It was metal" or some such and then it is the actual exact table. Besides that the episode did the creepy stuff well.

Oh my, maverick, that was her in Sports Night? Wow. I didn't realize that. That gave hope to awkward nerdy guys everywhere - if Josh Malina's character could land Jenny, well, hey! I've got to go watch that show again.

Maybe this crudely-drawn MS Paint jpeg will help:

No no, not a homeless mitten. One that a girl usually wears where the entire hand comes out of a big slot, leaving the part where her hand usually goes hanging loosely. Like this:

It's funny, on several DVD commentaries for shows that I enjoy that took place before cell phones were commonplace, there's always someone who says with a sigh "This storyline wouldn't really be possible these days."

I'd risk it for a handie if the woman was wearing one of those fingerless mittens that has a slot for her fingers to come out. The fingerless mitten part just rubs against the nuts during the handie and it's just fantastic.

She was great in Californiacation (and I hate that show). NSFW:

"could happy to anyone"
:)

And then she married him?
The funny thing about that episode is that I think it is implied that Geordie eventually marries her. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong (I believe it was referenced in some incarnation of Trek that I didn't care for; Nemesis? Voyager?) I know Geordie was written to be someone who was

Without unregistered comments, we'd lose this epic fuck thread (and other such threads whenever there is the subject of sex, rape, or poop in the article):

That reference and the comment "who are touched by everyone's concerns for their safety, but want everyone to know that things are fine, really, how are you?" made me laugh.

I'm glad you're still here doing these.
