It is.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the citizens of IC either. The actual, physical city is awesome though, just because you can walk around everywhere. Seriously, I haven't used my car in months; I should probably go check to see if it's still there………..

I'm yet to meet ANYONE who thinks this movie was really good. Opinions range from indifferent to hate. Where is all this enthusiastic love coming from? Who are these people?

Via Chicago Records
is what the company should be called. You're welcome Wilco.

This will go down as one of Mr. O'Neal's finer articles. I enjoyed it immensely.

Ames sucks. Iowa City rules. Des Moines is all right.

What about Vinnie Chase?

Has audio of that surfaced yet?

Do these movies actually perform well at the box office? If so, HOW THE FUCK!?!?!?

I'm curious…
is Comic-Con just a collection of panels that people dress up for? What the fuck goes on there?!?

It will also involve using the word involve(d) too much.

July 24th
To please Mr. Scott, my entry will involve being involved in numerous gladiatorial battles, and uncovering the secret history of the Magna Carta. Just an average day in my life really.

The Brutalist Bricks
is one of the most underrated albums of the year. It got pretty mixed reviews, but I picked it up and it's fucking awesome.

Wildcard Charlie, I feel your hate for jam bands. Most of my friends are obsessed with jam band music, so I've been forced to hear a terrible amount of endless guitar noodling through my high school and college days. Moe, Railroad Earth, Dave Matthews, Strangefolk—they all make me want to puke. I need new friends.

I agree that there's been a drop in quality, but at least it doesn't stay the exact same every season, like Entourage or even The Office. I like that they're willing to completely move the show around and try out different things, even if they don't all work. It's a watchable form of bad (but once good) television,

I thought Germany would have stomped Spain after that Argentina massacre, but Spain keeps slipping by. I love it.

Don't drop the soap Lindsay—there be strap-ons!

I also count the new Owen Pallett album as rap so……..

I'll check those out. Thank you muchly.

Rap in 2010
Besides this, The Roots, and Gorillaz (if you want to count that as rap), it seems like rap hasn't had that many good releases this year—at least compared to the overall awesomeness that this year has given us so far. I admittedly don't follow rap all that closely, so am I wrong on this?
