My anger is building on this. As a FG enthusiast as well, don't most fans agree that this season has been there worst? The episode "Family Gay" was from this season, and was the single most awful thing they have done.

I've made this mistake before - avclub is a Lost fan central of sorts. I'll gain some brownie points back by saying yes, BSG should've been nominated, if not now then in the past, considering the last season was either the worst or second worst of the series.

It's the most entertaining formulaic show on TV… but yeah, to me that doesn't equal great show. Better than most television though.

Hmmmm… if it makes any difference, that was not an attempted firstie attempt. Not sure if I'll be believed.

On a similar note, Outstanding Comedy seems to be quite the opposite. I'm a fan of both FG and The Office, but don't consider either emmy material.

Ill be a stinker
Lost does not belong in that first group. Otherwise, that does represent some quality programming. I'm rooting for Mad Men.

If not the entire Winston Wolf sequence in Pulp Fiction, then simply the conversation between Wolf and Jimmy about linens.

In all seriousness - this just became the front page story on Yahoo, and will likely become a sizeable story today. Furthermore, as she should have learned from Patrick Swayze, trying to tell people what is going on as to stop the rumors will make little to no difference. Not to say that she shouldn't tell the world

In an effort to guard my privacy
NBC made a not-too-alarming statement that no one cared about.

Do that scene
Where the girl is like "And how can this beeeeee?" "For he IS the Kwisatz Haderach". Then it rains and the music comes and its nuts.

In the master bedroom, under the bed, in a floor safe . . . You understand?
We want what's in the safe. We want what's in the safe in the floor under the bed in the master bedroom.

Tomwaits, I thorougly enjoyed reading that post, moreso than many entire articles I read on this site. Do you really believe that cultural ambition is less now than it has been through the majority of the 20th century? I'm not so sure, but it is interesting. Take a look at the book BoBos in Paradise by ny times

Glad about these numbers.
For some reason, I'm really happy Bruno didnt open for 70 million or some crazy number like that. Not that I have anything against this movie, but I had some fear that this would happen and then I would have to spend another Monday trying to figure out what this means about America.

Rev PF, this is a failure on so many levels that it made me laugh. So thats good.

Part 2 is more like mumble mumble mumble.

Yeah, cuz Im not a hater or anything, but I was wondering if it was totally based on "Im on a Boat" and a handful of digital shorts. Which would just make me say maybe lets hold of on crowning their movies before they are made.

Please explain to me the over-the-top Lonely Island love.

But you surely were attempting a first, regardless.

I may be cautiously, but you… when you someone eat it.

What is the list of SNL character movies that have worked?
Blues Brothers… anything else?
