My name is…
Shake-Zula, the mic rulah, the old schoolah, you wanna trip, I'll break it to ya.

So when you say "Drop"
You mean they are telling us this is the silly new album title? Not that they are getting rid of this album title in favor of a new one? I don't think this is proper use of the word "drop", even as a euphemism.

I don't get it
So if I'm in europe and I type in "www.hulu.com" what happens? There is special web programming going on there to make sure I can't see the videos? Why?

Considering this is more or less the most succesful TV show of all time
Why is the final song a guaranteed perennial turd? Why don't they just put a bounty out over the year to a great songwriter to get something that isn't such obvious horse shit?

Whoever was in charge of promoting this show is a genius
It's probably the first show in years where I am genuinely excited to see the pilot. Those trailer-mercials really get me going.

Scullery, hewer, husbandman, rainblown, fairybook, coastwise, chattels, newsawn, egrets, rookeries,
That's an inventory of some words used in the first three pages of this novel.

By the way Leonard - great pick. Blood Meridian unfortunately falls outside of the two requirements for a novel to be truly famous and widely discussed - short enough to read in a highschool class and appropriate for teenagers.

I think the problem with the size limit thing is the notion that more than 500 pages = uncommonly large novel. I'd say most of the quality fiction I've read - and I focus primarily on modern American lit - is between 400 and 700 pages long. Way too many books are eliminated by the 500 page rule.

"He stokes the scullery fire."
I once tried to write a short story about a man who became obsessed with that sentence. Seriously.

There is a big difference between a film being "retconned out of the canon" and the sequel script writers choosing to ignore it. You can bet that T4 will ignore details mentioned in the first two films as well.

Terminator 4 is still being held from early reviews
also, it has been directed by someone who goes by McG, and his 3 other directing efforts were all abysmal. Unless it gets great reviews, which I'm betting it won't, I doubt it will win the summer. At this point, what will beat Star Trek?

Piling on here. Tree of Smoke is brilliant.

Good call Kerouac. I also chalked it up to the small town thing - Kris Allen going to Conway, Bamatuckysas was probably the biggest event in the history of that town. San Diego probably gets just about every major musician performing virtually year round, plus sporting events, etc. Furthermore - I (and many of you),

Why were little boys screaming like that for Danny/Kris/Adam?
That disturbed me.

It's her job to service young boys.

How far in advance are FG episodes made?
Because Roy Scheider voiced himself in the episode - and the man's been dead for 15 months.

If that's your initial response to playing it, I wouldn't bother going past the demo.

America was the name of the girl? OHHHHHH!

I have an idea
Vin Diesel and Paul Walker should drive into France, load him into the trunk, then gun it for the US border.

Agree all the way
My wife and I were trying to figure out tonight if we were really going to keep watching this show. This was probably the last week, just an overall bad episode, furthermore I agree with Keith in that I'm not even sure what the show is all about and I'm not all that excited with any of the
