It's deeper than that.  Not as good at The Shield, Breaking Bad, or Mad Men, but I'd put it on par with Justified.

I get the impression that the morals of it is a minor quibble, but it's mainly about the practical difficulties and attention of running drugs.  Then you get serious heat from law enforcement and the federal government because of the drug war.

Not quite.  Of the First 9, JT, Piney, and Lenny were all in Vietnam (though not in the same unit: JT and Piney served together, and they met Lenny in boot camp, only reuniting as part of a mission in Vietnam; they invited him in as the 3rd member after coming home).  Clay didn't serve with them, and hadn't been in

If Juice has been internalizing this for a long time, I can see him making it a big deal even if the club probably wouldn't.  From Juice's perspective, this is a big secret, and there are no black guys in the club.

I'm not sure Juice is savvy enough to do that like Jax is.  I think Juice is smart (remember, he's the computer expert of the club), but not as streetsmart as the other guys (we're on a relative scale here, he's still more streetsmart than most folks).  I can see him freaking out and not handling the situation well.

Specifically, Juice is Puerto Rican (or, at least, that's what he said).

I'm not trying to be convinced.  I think the show is terrible, and you're not going to change my mind.  But I am curious why you guys think it's so great.  I'm not seeing much in the way of substantive claims.

To maybe see what you guys think of it and see in it.  I wasn't aware that comments were meant to be only for people that approved of the subject of the article.

No, I absolutely love science fiction, even episodic science fiction.  (TNG is easily in my top 5 favorite shows.)  The problem with Doctor Who is how shallow it is.  "Look at this strange-looking alien!" seems to be the depth of most of the episodes.  There's absolutely no consistency between episodes.

Most every episode I saw was this:
1) Weird shit happens (mainly just weird for the sake of being weird).
2) Everyone frets and freaks about it for a while.
3) The Doctor, either through an unprecedented (and unpredictable) new power or bit of biology, or through another made-up use of the screwdriver or TARDIS, saves

I'm not trolling.  I really think this show is bad and don't see the appeal.

That was pretty funny.

Doctor Who is terrible.  I don't know how so many smart people have been fooled by this show.

This sounds awful.

Gemcraft is the gold standard of TD games as far as I'm concerned.  It's fun, but can get quite hard.  Don't Touch My Gems is another good one that's technically TD, but offers a good twist on it.  (I didn't really enjoy Castaway Island TD, though.)

Yeah, the bikes are, indeed, quite different.  But there's no way to know that from the game.  Even the walkthrough that they link to doesn't describe them well.  Of course, I didn't know that until well into playing because the differences aren't immediately obvious.  You have to complete challenges to advance, but

Regarding Cyclomaniacs 2:

I'm trying not to pick fights on message boards as much as I used to, but I have to call this one out from Noel:
"In fact, I think about “Common People” every time I hear rich politicians hail the “good people” of “the real America” while they’re busy slashing the funding for the health care, education, and

Did the animation seem a little off this week?  There were several times when it felt a little putty-like and not quite as sharp as it should be.

Agreed. I always skip anything of the iPad or iPhone apps. Maybe if it gets an F I'll read it for fun, but usually, I just pass on by. I even skip the paid Wii games, and I have one of those. I read Sawbuck for browser games, and have found some good ones through it. (Though I have to say that the great grade for
