William certainly didn't deserve to win. He was awful and annoying, much like Cecile from last year (except Jen wasn't nearly as endearing as Nate). Now, if they do BATG All Stars, please pair Cecile with William. Please.

Nice. I figured that Claire would somehow tie into Kensei, especially after the regneration was revealed. Making him Big Daddy would make sense.

The Card
All I know is that I desperately and longingly want a prop replica of that Get out of Hell Free card.

You're not alone, Doc. I've long thought of TV as a unique and special medium for telling certain types of stories. It so happens that those stories are also my favorite types. Character-based stories with longer, more nuanced arcs that are told through ensemble casts.

I'm farily certain that the implication with Digby is that those who Ned brings back are, barring illness or injury, immortal.

Sophia on the council
I was begging my TV for Sophia to raise her hand to run against Laurel. Something about Laurel rubs me the wrong way. Maybe it's just her accent, "I don't know who should get the gold stah." Imagine a town council of DK, Blaine, Greg, and Sophia. The only possible way it could be improved

Screw you guys. I'm glad I don't eat land animals anymore. Back when I did, I liked my food well done, and I'll not be sneered at by the food version of hipsters.

The nerd in me (which, granted, is pretty much all of me) loved the comic jokes. I can't imagine many "mainstream" folks getting any of the comic jokes (especailly the hilarious Watchmen Babies), but I was just delighted with them all.

You'll be missed, Shay
I can totally understand the strategy behind dumping John and Nicole last week. This was with the understanding that William and Jen would be eliminated this week. Joshua and Shay's interactions have been some of the most delightful of the season, though I don't know that Shay has taken that

Spinning wheels?
In a lot of ways, this show feels like it's spinning its wheels. While I enjoy it, I want to see some plot and character development more often than once every seven episodes. I was hoping we turned a corner from focusing on Monster of the Week to Ongoing Storyarc when dad got the contract, but

Sean is awesome
I laughed out loud here at work twice while reading this today. Good thing my co-worker doesn't care.

Don't forget that Shay lost the first intelligence test that they had on the first episode. That's how she and Joshua got together, becuase he lost the social test.

Nah, Sam has grown on me, as well. I know there's all this flap about him having an IMDB profile, but what aspiring actor doesn't have one? And how many "club promoters" in LA aren't aspiring actors? Maybe I'm a sucker, but I completely buy Sam as a real person, not as an actor.

Conservative Haylie
Not to ogle a cartoon character, but Haylie looked far nicer outside of her dirty hippy outfit.

TGTTM is funny enough. I'd watch it if it was on, but not record it. But it's not brilliant. That just cheapens the word "brilliant."

Olive Visual Gags
Olive as a jockey is just beautiful, and about as wonderful as Emerson's knitted holsters.

6 Weeks Later
What's the deal with the US version not doing the revisit 6 weeks later? That's one of the better parts of the UK version. Especially with a place like Sebastian's, I'd have loved to see if they stuck to it (which, apparently, they didn't).

This is really resonating with the UK Office, because Tim dealt with the same issues there. How he complained about being there, but when given the chance to leave and go back to school, he turned it down for a minor promotion. I'm glad to see this theme picked up in the US version, since it can be given more space

I think it's pretty clear, though, that that character is meant to be Hawking.
