Libertarian is NOT right-wing. Not by any means.

Spidey Sings!
Oooooooh…Gwen, I couldn't help all that sobbin'
You were tossed off a bridge by the Goblin!

Black comedy? While Brooks' Survival Guide was in that style, I think WWZ took things far more seriously. I think trying to "funny it up" would be a disservice to the book.

No, it was revealed after the vote in an individual interview that it was one of the blonde girls that defected.

Ha! Yeah, every time she drops her "r", I mock her.

"Closer to UK ideal"
That's a good comparison, and this week did remind me much more of why I love the UK version. (Which, by the way, I will never switch past when flipping channels.)

When I go to a new place, if they have calimari, I get it. It's something I like, and having that consistant dish among many places, it helps set a tone for what I can expect. Common apps are a good way to start with new places. You don't want to get the same entree everywhere, but a starter is fine.

Michael's Pathos
More interesting development in Michael's character as we see him in the non-manager role. And, look, he's funny and popular. One of the best things in adapting David Brent was to give Michael Scott some redeeming qualities. One of those was that he was (and sometimes is) an excellent salesman.

Contracts and adoptions
Rescue groups screen people to make sure that their a suitable home for the animal. The more the group is crazy about animals, the more rigid the screening. So it's mainly just paperwork from the city shelter, but from volunteer groups, it's contracts, visits, and phone calls. On the one

Female casting
The casting of the females in this show is pretty spectacular. You have regulars like Chuck and Olive, both of whom are adorable. Especially Chuck. Then the guest casting of the promotions girl was also super cute. Best gag had to be the drawn on eyes and lips on the full body cast.

Hour longs are still great
I don't understand the complaints about the last couple of episodes dragging on. I didn't feel that at all while watching them.

Drew in for the long ride?
I haven't seen a full episode yet, just clips, but I will say that it'll take a little while for Carey to fit in with the show. I do wonder if Carey can do the show for decades like Barket did.

Go, Nicole
Still rooting for Nicole, and by default, Sam. I was a bit put off that her date, John, sent her to elimination. However, I have to disagree about her and Dave. He's still too socially awkward for her. (And regarding the hug at the end, Nicole has mentioned that she's got personal space issues, so that

Virgin Shots!
The party at the beginning was pretty funny. I'm sure kids know what shots are and can fake them on their own. But, even so, you know there's over-18 meddling going on here. I like this show a lot (kudos to the shout out for awesome Jared, who reminds me of a lot of my friends in high school), but

Vegetarian
Things like this make me both happy and sad that I gave up meat long ago.

Potential
Both of these shows have potential. One thing I was instantly happy about in both shows was the departure from the 3-camera studio audience format. Jokes weren't delivered in formula, so that's a plus for both.

Missed the boat
I've heard a lot of great stuff about this show, and am sorry that I missed the boat on it when it started. Luckily we have the TV DVD revolution in place now, and past seasons are available. (Thank you, DVD, if not for you, I woudln't know The Sopranos, The Shield, Alias, or a host of other shows

Mr. Sark
Helllloooooo? Nobody's even mentioning the wonderful choice of Alias' Sark to play Kensei. He was my favorite part of Alias, and I'm delighted to see him here.

Angel, Gone but not forgotten
I love how an excellent show like Angel (which really hit its stride in the last couple seasons) gets the can, only to have two of the big networks put on vampire detective shows a few years later. Granted, by its end, Angel wasn't really about the detective work, but who cares?

KOTH Still Great
My comments last week didn't get posted because of a glitch, but I had said that King of the Hill is the most consistantly funny show on TV. It's been around for, what, 9 years, and I think shows today are still as funny as the first ones were. It may not have been as funny as many Simpsons
