I actually found the NBA joke lazy as well, and I'm really confused why people found it funny. YES ATHLETES HAVE SEX ALL THE TIME. I feel like this would be funny to people who don't watch sports regularly.

Agreed. It bothers me a bit more because it tends to be a big flaw in a lot of otherwise good cartoons. TMNT, for example, has that issue that's a bit more prominent in the second episode vs. the pilot.
