There were some aliens and monsters that spewed colored blood, but that was semi-rare.

I don't know why people are saying this in relation to Family Guy, as if "mountain climbing" and "cannibalism" hasn't been used in any other cartoon, ever. No one accused AD stealing from South Park and inherently made it a point against them.

See, I'm not a huge fan of the song nor the video. I was expected to be blown away but it's fairly mild and silly. It's nothing more than a catchy novelty song, but it's KOREA so I guess we're supposed to be blown away?

I actually thought it was refreshing to see Liu play someone a bit more vulnerable instead of her "Power Asian" type that she usually plays. Strike me up for someone who enjoyed the pilot a lot more than I expected. Although I certainly had fairly low expectations.

Bleh - yeah, racism was the wrong word to use. More like marketing biases and advertising prejudices.

I think it has to do less with specific mentioning in the Bible and more to implied interpretation of marriage-kids developments. Catholics believe that seed is only for procreation - and anything else is a waste of seed (children) and is a sin. This is inherently where its pro-life, anti-gay stance stems from, as…
Sad that Andre Braugher is clearly the star but the posters keep showcasing who I assume is Speedman.

I don't hate the Matrix, but I sure thought the over-wrought praise for it was a bit much. I didn't care for it too much the first time I saw it, although I liked it marginally better on a second viewing. It masks it's cliches well enough in its visuals, which are impressive, but gilded shit is still shit; that is,…

I know Tosh gets a lot of shit, and yeah, partially because he earned it, but I do want to say that last night's Tosh.0 was surprisingly good, especially the Web Redemption. If there's a way to just watch that somehow, check it out. (It involved a kid who dressed in blackface that gave an MLK Jr. speech, and his…

I call shenanigans. Drawn Together wasn't a winner, but it was funny enough, looked pretty damn good, and mostly understood the animation/character tropes they were skewing. Comedy varies, but the core of the show held together.

Well, it's been 15 years, and technically they're in the midwest, so I could imagine it's just they haven't gotten around to it yet. I assume there are some steam/diesel engines out there, but the shock of losing power hasn't triggered an old-school industrial revival just yet. If this was 50 years afterwards, then…
