LIKED SO HARD FOR ACCURACY.

What was with the late 80s/early 90s and the utter disdain for kids? Problem Child, Clifford, that one with Culkin as a psychopathic killer… damn.

I agree, and I still watch the show. It seemed that he was genuinely curious about the bizarreness of people in their videos, and on occasion manages to mine some pretty astute observations. But of course, those weren't getting laughs, so he and the crew must have double down on the dumber, cruder stuff.

I guess he was supposed to be a Frank Grimes-like character, but his obsession with the boys doesn't really comment on anything, and it's not creepy enough to be

I love how FUCK YOU COUCH (N*GGA can be added at the end, that's optional) became the new "You're bullshitting me." It wasn't even intended in the sketch, but that's the internet for you, and it works so freaking well.

I rewatched Jumaji a while ago. It's cheesy as fuck but not all terrible. The kids are kinda killed (although there's a huge silly redo at the end) so it has that going for it.

Finally, people who understand (and accept) lighter fare and are okay with stuff being made with kids in mind! I pretty much agree with everything in this thread - that it's possible to make lighter entertainment that could be funny and good (essentially, The Avengers) and a lot of what we think is "too dark" for kids

Rex Reed and Armond White - buddy cop movie waiting to happen?

YES. I thought so, but I couldn't be sure. Loved it.

I'm surprised more people aren't aware of ball-jointed dolls. They tend to be the more sought-after toys in the whole, general toy-collection fandom. They do rare releases of superheros once in awhile; my friend managed to grab a Captain American one, and I think a Spider-man BJD as well.

Did you catch the season finale? They had a huge twist that - and I'm exaggerating only a little bit - that would rival the infamous Soprano's ending. I honestly have never seen any TV show, especially a kids show, do something as ballsy as they did.

I'm sorry… but I'm not digging the whole "THIS is how you tell a rape joke" concept. It seems to come down to a very odd level of, for lack of a better word, privilege of social standing. The idea of saying, "Oh, it's so-and-so? That's okay, he can say all the rape jokes he likes - he earned it" offends me more than
