I'm nominating veep's" first response"! If ineligible then the recently aired "Alicia". Completely fell in love with the show during season 2. It's only gotten better imho

this exactly. The give and take on Birgitte is the thing that is well worth watching. Here's a woman who went from being the person to lose party seats to the most powerful in the country. Her adaptation and taking Bent's words in those first few episodes to heart is what makes this show.

final scene always breaks my heart and I'm not a sappy one. pride and hurt right there..

mad men is a different kind of animal. in a strange way- I don't think I even consider these 2 in the same genre (even though they admittedly are)

you're bound to get at least 50% of that!

I meant Denmark had a first female minister:

Troels  being like this is what brought Birgitte to power! Now that he has a little power he just wants more.

I haven't seen the merchant of venice so I missed out on that reference originally. I was much less delighted then Todd is though. Don Draper's fetal position sleep hints at his longing but I think that's just because he's becoming more and more estranged to everything in his life, he wants to regress to a more

Population of my country (and of Denmark) is substantially smaller so all the big players are well known and frequently change teams (surviving many scandals) often getting involved with the press in a direct capacity (or even standing behind holding companies owning the media) - they are also that more significant.

press scandals happen all the time in Europe Todd. Also I now know more then I ever wanted to about American politics thanks to these reviews (not that I mind it all that much)

I'm in love with this story. Had a gift for finding exploits in video games but obviously I'm nowhere near this guy.

next episode is named rains of castamere. I'd bet it holds the red wedding

I called that Elijah will end up with the cure after reading "You'll never guess who ends up with the cure" online. He's the male Elena, and he hasn't lost himself so it's bound to be interesting.

I mix up Paxton and Greg Kinnear actually

jeezus. I already said it was an honest mistake.

Shoot. thanks for catching that one @avclub-9349e20458f64c9bfb83b5221e145937:disqus . (I'm crazy tired so my mind is semi-disconnected)

Yes. It's crazy insulting. pun intended

Pat is in the hospital for 4 years (versus the 8 months in the movie). Has no idea about the outer world. He is convinced that his wife will take him back since he's lost weight and doesn't remember what happened between them. He is also newly determined to be nice and interested in the things wife was, hence the book

great article. That being said I'm not very enthusiastic about any of this years nominees to the point of where I wouldn't care if Argo won.

good episode! Love Donna- didn't think bitchslapping was a big deal after what he put her through (and us.. those episodes without her/little of her were harD). I also love Bunk. I wonder if Rachel is really going to leave. She should but that leaves a big empty spot. She's a good supporting player.
