"As she often does, Ann quickly blends into the background of her own storyline" - sad but true.
The redeeming factor for most of this season's episodes is that they have a lot of heart. We have a sentimental attachment to all of these characters and as long as they stay true to themselves they can never stray far

oh. sorry. I just don't enjoy that particular style of writing. And Kitty and Ljevin drive me crazy. (I liked "the idiot" and "crime and punishment" though. )

I was on about 70% when I gave up (and it was obligatory reading in my highschool) .. very bleak. monotonous … In spite of being slavic I don't appreciate Tolstoy .. My advice would be not to force it- because it doesn't really get better.

ha! I read V. But I was lucky enough to get it in my native tongue with loads of explanations on the by lines so it was readable. I'm afraid to start another Pynchon book in English.

I'm afraid watching the Tudors would spoil me on Wolf hall books. (I'm aware that a lot of the tudors was historically inaccurate and altered but still… ). Have you seen the tv show prior to reading the book by any chance?

have you read Sperm wars? that's one very interesting book.

I think I'll be finally digging into 1q84! Always up for a cult expose so I might give Beyond Belief a shot. I also got Dona Tart's The Secret History recently… After that maybe some more Shakespear. Thus far (in 2013) I've read Macbeth, Going Clear and a little chiklit called Can you keep a secret. I'm on 3rd book of

very funny episode. I just love this show for both being more real and more self involved then anything else. This maybe my favorite comedy as of lately (not counting last week's ep)

I just wish we could have a couple of old school episodes. Just Penny and the guys. And Penny and Sheldon having some sort of feud or something. Kaley Cuoco is underutilised

(I  love this show)

I agree with the fair amount of your estimates but the key word is still underwhelmed. Never seen anything Canadian before (tried Flashpoint once). The later episodes are far more fun.

In The Walking Dead era… I wouldn't bet on it. And Carlton knows his stuff

“Live From Studio 6H” is my favorite episode, hands down. Watched both versions multiple times.

remember "I hate my Teenage daughter"? different network but still… they'll never learn

. Is there a birthday gift pile, hm?
!!

I'm more concerned with his preoccupation with making sitcoms about dad-son relationships

military drama on the CW… yuck. Who is gonna tell those soldiers they're all gonna die if it turns out their kids are awesome at highschool (which I'm not saying they will actually attend)

What is with NBC and parenting teenagers ? It's really not that much fun

a Emily Owens reboot called Gregory Grey, MD ? Multi-camera this time!

Jennifer Hendriks has also written my least favorite episodes. Thanks for looking it up. Will not be watching this episode it sounds seriously lazy (and I've been in love with The Hobbit since I was 6.. so yeah 18 years)
