So true, I was forced into violin lessons for 10 years (age 5-15). I learned 2 things:

I think we're roughly the same age. I'm just glad I don't have to be associated with either generation. (Graduated high school in '98, Columbine in '99. Don't think I could stand going to high school with grief counselors and metal detectors.)
