I loved this episode, and I was absolutely delighted by the introduction of another Team Machine. I also loved seeing previous Numbers back in action. This show really rewards loyal viewers.

They did that with My So-Called Life, so it's possible….(I'm still waiting for those last few MSCL write-ups!).
I didn't know he was Acker's husband! I admit, his character was a deep cut for the show. I like that they brought those old persons of interest back. It's another reminder of why it is valuable to start with this show from the beginning, because little things from early on often come into play later.
Elementary is a halfway decent show—not as good as The Good Wife or Person of Interest, but worth watching anyway. Aside from that, CBS is dreck, dreck, and more dreck.
You're doing it wrong.
Hooperman! I was just talking about that show the other day! I was talking to a woman named Bijoux, and I told her that her name means "jewelry" (which she already knew). I mentioned that I knew that because it was the name of the main character's dog on an old tv show called Hooperman, which starred John Ritter.
I dunno….I like old-fashioned network dramas, and I think NCIS is pretty bad. Then again, I enjoyed it once upon a time, so maybe I should just shut the fuck up.
ARGH! (punches wall)
Pretty late to the party, but I just wanted to point out that there's some precedent for Doctor Fate in the DC TV Universe: on the cancelled NBC show Constantine, the camera once panned over a table of magical objects that the show's main character was in possession of. Eagle-eyed viewers noticed that one of the…
There was a JAG Officer in the TNG episode "Measure of a Man" where Starfleet Picard had to argue in favor of Data's personhood. Good ep!
Alicia should've married him, then they could've called the show The Goode Wife.
The Good Life Partner
Didn't diminish anything. I loved it! I've been shipping Root and Shaw for awhile now, and it was nice to see them knock boots (and yes, it was hot).
Yeah, when Root said that were at her place, that was the tip-off for me: Root now lives in the gang's abandoned subway station hideout, not in a fancy apartment with big windows.
I agree. I dig Elementary, but it's no Person of Interest.
As a straight male, I had nothing bad to say about the sex scene between Root and Shaw.
I suspected it wasn't real when Shaw asked where they were, and Root said "My place." Root lives in the abandoned subway station, not in the apartment where she and Shaw did the nasty (loved that scene, by the way).
Yeah, I kinda imagined those things too. I mean, how could they n ot have them? The prisoners would've died of thirst, and the cells would've been full of feces and urine! (Yes, I've thought about this stuff way too much).
The episode with the Boyz 4 Now concert was one of the best Bob's Burgers eps ever. Other winners: "Sheesh! Cab, Bob?" and "Burger Boss."
I think Bob's Burgers most definitely is laugh-out-loud funny, but I agree that King of the Hill is a good point of comparison.
