If I may, I'd like to point you towards AwfulAnnouncing.com. They don't review broadcasts like you're referring to, but to them the biggest story of the college football season isn't the upcoming playoff, but instead Chris Fowler replacing Brent Mussberger in ABC's lead announcing booth.

"Hot Rocks Polka."  Used to walk to and from school singing the entire thing in my head over and over.  Beyond "Satisfaction," that was pretty much my entire introduction to the Stones.

Bob Uecker's passing will signal the end of an era for me.  He's like the irreverent uncle who always tells a few off-color jokes at Thanksgiving, especially when the game is out of hand and he needs to fill some time.  Fucking priceless.

Yes, it is actually pretty great.  Never got to see Ebbets Field, the Polo Grounds, Crosley Field, Forbes Field, etc. in person, but after seeing 42 I sure felt like I was there.

It's quite fascinating to look at.  I spent the better part of a day going through these once.  Creeps me out with some of the caricatures, but interesting to see things from his perspective.
