I've got a little suprise for you

The banjo scene was "nice" and "heartwarming"? Maybe at first, but the eventual forfeit by Ronny Cox's character ("I'm lost") and the boy's refusal to shake his hand after are pretty terrific examples of foreshadowing. There's contempt on both sides right from the start.
