It was like Sam the Eagle kissing her.  Blech!  I enjoy watching Will McAvoy as a character, but for some reason Jeff Daniels is incredibly unappealing as a romantic lead.  I can't put my finger on it, but it's bad.

If that's his primary job responsibility, he's terrible at it.

I thought it was hilarious that they turned a complete psychopath into a babysitter.

Chibs is the BEST.  If they kill off Chibs, I'm rioting.  Or something.  I can also get on board with Tara when she's beating people up for some reason.  And now I am inclined to like Colette even though I know nothing about her other than that she is played by Kim Dickens, who I love lotses and lotses.

Not being snarky here - can somebody tell me what "variations of honey" are?  Is it like crystallized honey, liquid honey and some other kind of honey?  Or is it honey from different places or something?  I need to knoooooooooooooooow!

In addition to the long hair issue of James, Natasha and Jessie, it drives me crazy to see Natasha tottering around on 6" heels and a tiny skirt in every episode.  Cook like a real person, will ya?  Every week I'm hoping she topples over on her way to the judging stand with her dish just for being such a vain

She is easily the best thing about this show and I find the need to say it every time we watch.  I don't often like the way Sorkin writes female characters, but Sloan and CJ Cregg are the exceptions (not dissimilar characters really).

There's a recipe I've made where you put a slurry on the chicken, bake it a little and then pan-fry it and it comes out super tasty and juicy every time. I think it was on an America's Test Kitchen episode IIRC. Works great.

Similarly, I think PDN characterizing her as trailer trash is a bit off as well.  Trailer trash and S. Philly are two separate beasts :)

I might just be forgetting, but Krissi doesn't seem to do terrible in a team setting, strangely enough.  You don't typically see her screwing up or causing drama on the day.  She's definitely a bad luck charm, though, and when she inevitably gets to the pressure test after losing, she reverts back to her patented

Random note - I *HATE* the plate smashing.  It's just wasteful and unnecessary and doesn't add to the enjoyment of seeing bad cooking lol

Krissiles.

i know, right?  i don't really always have much to say that would be worthwhile, but i enjoy reading the reviews and comments each week :)

Both you and @avclub-c027a095f6633553f8f45a0ce00fd45d:disqus are fab recappers for our lil show!  It would be great if we could get Mattman Begins back to be a guest recapper, too!

Since I am waaay late to this week's comments due to out of town guests, I'll keep it brief.

I like Project Runaways!  And, while I would be a terrible recapper, I will definitely be over commenting and reading if this all happens! :)

As soon as they hit that final scene with Linden and Skinner came on, my husband starting yelling, "What's in the baaahhhhhhxxx?"

I was watching this scene and wondering what the hell I missed over the course of the last few seasons that she would be going to Sam of all people.  I would almost buy Alcide as a romantic interest before SAM.  At least Sookie and Alcide had a mild flirtation.  She's never really been into Sam.

Oh, and you know Kooan from Season 10 was crying all over himself watching this episode and wishing somebody gave him a stuffed penguin to design with.

Drama first, mais oui!  I felt bad for both of them, but obviously moreso for Timothy *except* for the fact that I think most of the tears he was crying in the workroom, confessionals, runway, etc., were TOTAL crocodile tears.  Something is completely off with that guy and he amps everything up in a very contrived way
