How annoying was Jessie's mother?  I wish she had a different loved one there (hard to believe she doesn't have a S.O.) - just made me feel bad for her.

A good bunless, cheeseless burger.  (Even typing that sentence makes me mad)

Both shows get ripped on, but personally I think Dexter deserves it more.  Either way, I dont think they are particularly well-written shows, but they are both really fun shows to watch.  Some things you appreciate for the sheer artistry, some things for the sheer entertainment (e.g., Banshee) and I never let myself

Everybody's at the same spot with that back story.  Skinner isn't in the first two seasons and if he was referenced, I don't really remember it.

I was surprised the review didn't really reference Becker and what happened with his son the previous episode and how that possibly colored his actions when it came to letting Seward see his own son.

I pay attention to Kinnaman.  Very close, stalkerish attention.

oh god, that crew guy was the funniest.  can't believe i had already forgotten about that!

I think I actually would have sent home Karen this week.  That blue dress was terribly constructed and the shape made the model look weirdly blocky up top.  And it looked cheap (I think it was - she spent like $90 IIRC).

I suspect it's a little bit of both - villain edit + behavior that lends itself to nasty editing lol.  And I am liking these conspiracy theories about her and the rest of the cast purposely doing this more and more .

I was rooting for her the first two episodes because they were sort of giving her the underdog/underestimation edit and having spent a lot of time in Philadelphia, I have a soft spot for that South Philly attiude.  But as week's go on, it's pretty much impossible to root for her.  She's made aggressive defensiveness

I didn't see Road to the Runway this year and maybe they mentioned this, but are they going back to the system of each designer picking new models each episode?  Otherwise, won't they know which model is working with which designer, rendering the runway non-anonymous (unanonymous? manamana?)?

My husband was screaming that phrase at the tv during that scene, making me crack up in what could have been a wonderfully powerful scene.  What a bastid!

I've seen the videos - goats are assholes.

Still watchable, but not as good.  I did think the last season was pretty decent and tied things up nicely, though.

@avclub-ff890f0676c8a7da4fe5f9c3f4df7c0b:disqus  but but but… so much rain… convenient for washing away all the evidence! :)

On the one hand, I hope Jennifer Carpenter lands another show real quick and continues to grace our screens with her awesomeness… on the other hand, I'm going to have a hard time seeing her as any character BUT Deb.  I sort of hope those rumors of a Deb spinoff are true.

Tell that to the people investigating the Green River Killer.  If memory serves, the pre-DNA era list of suspects was pretty long.

Perfect description.  For me it falls into the category of one of those shows I watch while working (I work at home), so I don't really pay super close attention to it.  That being said, it is on my DVR and I do watch every episode at some point, so it keeps drawing me back in every season, for whatever that's worth.

I will always "like" this quote… in almost any context.

I could listen to him for hours on end because his accent is EXACTLY what you think somebody putting on an Italian accent would sound like.  I think it's hilarious and adorable.  But I think his cooking is mediocre.
