Ultra high-rez for video games makes sense. Even the few 1080p capable games I have for PS3 look kind of crumby.

I've worked on a few short movies shot in RAW 4K (i'm just assuming that 4K is the resolution that this "Ultra HD" is operating on), and believe me, the difference between 4K and 1080P definitely makes a huge difference in working with source material.
