I moved to a small town from Chicago not too long ago and haven't really gone to any dance classes yet, so I'm playing tennis for now. It is killing me, but I'm enjoying it-I hadn't really picked up a racquet since I played back in college.

I'm always scared to try taking ballet just once a week. I get so sore if I take time away from it and then start again. Even going a week leaves me hobbling after going back sometimes. I tend to skip it altogether unless I can go twice a week. In the summer I'll even go three times a week, but I'm not a swimmer, so.
Throughout the last few hours of my labor, the midwife would ask me if I wanted to look at a mirror, to 'see' HRH Headphone's head as I was pushing. I gave her my best 'bitch, please!' look.
I'm glad it's not for a few weeks, honestly. I need to get used to the controls so I don't embarrass myself!
I haven't had a chance to play too much (busy with school, and CrownPrinceHeadphone, who is getting to that 'impressionable' age, so I can't play stuff while he's awake), but so far it's been much lighter in tone.
GTA V!
I have a kid and I would still absolutely go to a place that has something like this in place.
I'm from Denver, and all of my family is there, so I'm back there often. Strange to see the pictures of Boulder (my home for my undergraduate days!) and the surrounding areas, as they look so recognizable, and then, sadly, not so recognizable.
k, I think (I'm new to it so not entirely sure) I requested an invite-I'm HRHHeadphone. :)
I'm showing His Girl Friday on the first day of class this semester. I'm going to be kind of bummed if no one is into it.
If I go to the store with my son, I get lots of 'oh, he's so cute/look at his cool hair.'. When my husband is out with him, he gets lots of looks that are basically 'hey, how come your kid is not white just like you?'
Think I found it, but wanted to post here to be sure- is it 'The AV Club: the motto should be in italics?' It was created today, so I'm assuming it is.
I certainly hope so! Hugs in your general direction.
I do, but I'm in the same boat as @avclub-18f18df4a6146deb1b97c2c944b9660c:disqus with school and whatnot. But if it's not out till October that's awesome!
Work Thread
Thank goodness my office is way up on the third floor-I don't think anyone heard me laugh at this! I'm new here-I'm trying not to appear crazy (yet).
My toddler is obsessed with that commercial, I swear we watch it on YouTube several times a day. :(
I'll put it this way-if you ever move to Amherst, MA or anywhere nearby, I've heard you should go with 'Ideal Movers' instead of the company I unfortunately had to deal with. I'm actually a little afraid of having to deal with him again once I call tomorrow to dispute the charge.
Ugh, get better soon!
The moving company I had to deal with. I've heard that movers in general are awful to deal with, but this guy was such an asshole! So, we'd contacted a moving company at our destination to get a few folks to help us unload our U-Haul. It was 6 weeks in advance, and we gave them a date and time, and told them the size…
