Oh, I dunno - when Scrubs got canceled by its original network, people got all worked up over it and another network picked up the slack.

Yes, there were other references to Voltron, especially the picture montage at the end, where they're sitting on the shoulder of the Duck robot and staring off into the sunset.  If I remember correctly, that was a copy of a similar still in the Voltron end credits.

I really liked the shooting them with the laser then punching them into the ground a bunch (this was before the pre-death goose speech, however).

Yeah, really.  I never had a problem with geese as a kid (in fact, as a 6 year old, I learned how to mimic Canada geese almost perfectly - it was an awesome party trick, for a 6 year old), but there's this one park in my town where, the last two times I've been for a jog around the lake, I've had to deal with dumb ass

Weird.  I guess it's just me, but I was pretty nonplussed by this episode.  Despite coming to the conclusion a few months back that these "big" episodes that the fans get all worked up about rarely live up to what I'm expecting, I still went into this looking for something good.  Yet again, though, I came away

I don't even know if you want to talk about "80's Saturday Morning Cartoons" in the plural sense (except for that Transformers song you mentioned.  I really only remember "ME GRIMLOCK!" from Transformers these days).  It was just full on Voltron vs Robeast.  I especially loved the delayed slice-then-explosion bit -

Then they'd have a tetralogy quadrilogy of shows that are likable and even pretty funny but my GOD do a lot of commenters here make these shows sound so much better than they actually are.

Homer Simpson, smiling politely (8uD

@avclub-22eda830d1051274a2581d6466c06e6c:disqus Hey, man, videos of people hurting themselves (but not too seriously) are always good for a laugh (at least, to me - but I'm an ex-skater), and Dyrdek is less annoying than Tosh, so don't feel too bad.

Mmm…pie-ty.

Hey everybody, guess who has never been to a wedding on a beach before?

They could bus in Kearney from the Simpsons to be Coleman.

No quoting season 15 without a permit!

Personally, I think this meme is overdone.

Most sport venue nachos, even the non-hat shaped ones, are nasty enough as it is.

This episode has not been ruled out as clinical tool for curing Continuity Nerds of their illness, but the preferred method is exposing the patient to repeated listenings of the "Love Theme from MST3K" until the patient wises the fuck up.

Yeah, pretty sure this was cut in syndication.

"Todd's got zesty Italian in his eye."

Next up is “Bart Gets An Elephant.” If memory serves, that’s a good one.

I remember a game I used to play on my college roommate's computer called Midtown Madness, an old Microsoft car racing game set in the busy streets of Chicago.  One of the most common cars populating the streets of the game was the Geo Metro.
