Poor ol' Purduehouse.

Murder/suicide pact with Snowball I

“Now I have four children. You will be called Stitchface.”

Mel Brooks Nathan Rabin is Jewish?!

Per my post above, I definitely agree with you re: Burns and Duke.  But, then again, Frink is decked out as a Cameron Crazy, and I learned from some Duke grads I know that only the nerds and losers do the Cameron Crazy bit.

Suddenly, there was no comment.  There was no post, no reply, no commenter called PolarBears to be followed.  There was nothing in the thread but the puzzled men of courage who suddenly found themselves alone with the shadows and the darkness…

Diarrhea CHA CHA CHA!

You've seen their new "test kitchen" thing, right?

You tell 'em, @WCOG:disqus .

He'd make a pretty decent Duke, actually: rich, privileged, secluded, heartless asshole trying to rule a blue-collar town where nobody likes him.

Yes, the Coleman Francis movies.  Just staggeringly and awesomely inept.  Other notoriously bad movies (like "The Room" or a lot of Ed Wood films) are campy to some extent (even if unintentionally so) or make some attempt at being fun or likeable.

He was in his early 30s during the UCB TV show.  He's now in his late 40s.

I'll always think of him as the guy on Workaholics who yelled "NOW COME OVER HERE AND GET YOUR DICKS SUCKED!" at the main characters in a valiant, if misguided, effort to save his marriage.

The Conet Project!

Yeah, I know, but I think this goes past the basic "anti-intellectualism" bit.

No one who speaks German could be kinky!

Eh, I have a hard time thinking of a bible trivia show as "garbage", per se, and not for any religious reasons.  It seems like something that some channel would have on (but I would've figured it'd be PAX or some 700 Club offshoot).  Take one of the oldest TV formats around, make it about a book a lot of people know

Hmm.  Full-on rapist would've been better.

Just Hannibal Buress?  Screw that, just make The Eric Andre Show into the new Tonight Show.

I also DVR'd Les Carabiniers around that time, and only recently deleted it for space…but only because I found out they're showing it again on March 29th.
