A little detail I thought was great was when Buster goes to see George Michael and the new hand freaks him out for a second, and then he seems impressed.
That one floored me it was so perfectly executed, with the complete silence and quick "I'm not with him"..
There was also a non-sequitur cut from the show when they didn't end up including the version of the Sinpson house made out of squirrels.
I think it's willy, you can kind of make out his accent on some the singing, plus it fits with his appearing in each segment.

So apparently Homer was supposed to be in the last segment in a scene where after Liza and Bart tell their parents what's going on he goes on about some desire to eat Milhouse and having authored a cook book, which upset the Van Houtens. The only thing that was kept out of the whole thing was the cook book.
