Yeah, if the idea behind a bottle episode is to save money, the way to do it is not by having a dozen guest stars. So I don't think this was intended to be bottle-episode-like.

I had been dreading that Tommy would throw some (character-assassinating) hissy-fit but instead he was kinda noble (?) and told Laurel that Oliver was still in love with her. He could have played that much differently, and that sort of tempering even of the (future) bad guys is appreciated.
