Oddly enough Will Harris had the exact same conversation with Richard Butler later that day.

Neither come close to "Give Peace a Chance".
Reminds me of an old Spin magazine thing where they let artists pick their idea of the 5 greatest albums of all time and a bunch of the teen-music people's lists consisted almost entirely of "greatest hits" or "best of" releases of bands.
H) Fuck you! That's my name!
Korn has the worst excuse for a bass player ever. I cringe when I hear the "chunnka chunnka slap slap". Terrible.
Agree 100%. You really need the whole "biiiiiiii-lyyyyyyyy sheeeeeeeerrrrrsss" buildup to the song to really appreciate it. On it's own it's kind of blah and overplayed and not interesting. In the flow of the album though, it's perfect.
That was the first thought that crossed my mind at that part.

Dawes of the New
Downloaded the full song on iTunes. Rare theme song that is actually a legitamately great song in general.

Know who else delivers a great monologue on what it means to be a Rebel Fighter?? Wedge. Don't listen to Porkins' monologue though. He put in a lot of work on it, and was almost ther-AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
I found that book oddly interesting and pretty damn cool, actually.
Method.
Same here. While Macca's version is good, the Faces kill it harder.
I compare it to when Clapton decided to stop playing Gibson guitars and become a fender playing alabama blues guy. Best part is they both have a talent to take songs they did that are incredible and remake them into total shit (Layla, anyone???)
Truth by Jeff Beck. Not even a Stewart album, but in a way it kind of is, he totally owns that shit.
