I live in Milwaukee. Violent Femmes burnout does occur with people here. It's hard to judge how popular a band from your city is outside of your city without some sort of bias one way or the other.

I find it interesting that he used to do it because he, well, pretty much felt entitled to it and enjoyed it. Now it seems he does it because he just can't help himself and he enjoys the sorrow of the ordeal it seems.
