Also, she cried?
Was "sorry, don't want to have a relationship" not an option? She cried?

The climax
Interesting in that half is almost unwatchable (the Troi part, of course) while the other half is friggin METAL. Picard looks like he'll just go ahead and step out the nearest airlock if their plan doesn't work. Crushing stuff, even if you know they'll be fine in the end.

Roland Emmerich
Did it first.

Equinox was pretty much as good as it got for Voyager, basically because what the Equinox was experiencing was EXACTLY HOW VOYAGER SHOULD'VE BEEN

The Wounded
Ooh! Cardassians when they had all-brown bodysuits and fu manchus!

The episode "Earthling," in which this shadow space creature thingy takes control of a cosmonaut's body, leaving it to consume the energy of people (and turn them into dust).

Next week's Riker line
Definitely not as good as "Mr. Worf. Fire." but still pretty awesome:

Best part of the album
"Idioteque," one of the most overwrought masturbatory songs of the 00s, paired with "Shout," giving it the mindless-wedding-staple status is totally deserves.

Shitty movie fight!
The Nutcracker In 3D

My favorite part of the "10 Directors You Didn't Know You Hated" inventory
All the mensas who kept posting "MICHAEL BAY! THAT GUY SUX!", as if no one had ever heard of Michael Bay.

Last!
Holy crap, this show blew!

Last!
Last! Hehindeedy, this show sucked!

I could not stop laughing at
Dee hauling out the trash during the movie, and the halfassed cut thereafter.

Failed firsties
I had it in mind all week to go with "Resistance is futile, Number One," but this recap went up when I was eating lunch. Oh well.

I also remember having to see manually if anyone had updated their profiles.

There Will Be Blood.

Obligatory Armond White post
He didn't like it.

Basically, the Breen were a species of presumed badasses that the Trek universe never really developed, aside from some late-period Dominion War stuff.

Elliott Smith, "Somebody That I Used To Know"
OK, probably not gleeful as, well, it's Elliott Smith we're talking about, but at least smirky.

Let us now note
The double dose of Patrick Stewart ass-kickings, first in Picard's ready room against Jarok, and second on the bridge against Tomalak.
