And who can forget one of the more memorable incidents involving Heroes, that time Harry Knowles of Aint It Cool News mused during a blog post about Claire's healing factor and how it would affect her virginity.

Just in time for three years too late for anyone to give a shit.

The Stiller show had some good moments, though they did go to the "What if [celebrity] was engaging in [mundane activity]?" sketch well a couple of more times that I was comfortable with.

When speaking of Time-Life books, we can't forget the series on The Old West. Jack Palance says it makes him "feel like I was there".

People were doing that sort of thing all the time. Man, all of the times in high-school when kids would get bawled out by their parents for that. Sure, they often would get a surge of energy and get knocked out, but it was really not that big of a deal.

One of these books has an article about some London tunnel-diggers cracking open a big chunk of coal and finding a pterodactyl still alive. It promptly gasped its last breath, died, and was, apparently, never seen again.

In the game, Kaz and Ocelot often sound like divorced parents constantly contradicting each other.

The spots for this looked like total garbage. My other big clue that this show is probably utter garbage? It's a Ryan Murphy series.

So I guess my pitch for the John Wick sequel to feature a mostly Muppet cast is a no go, then.

>pretending The Big Bang Theory doesn't exist anymore
I have no problem with this. In general, I mean.

Comedy and horror in the sense that with a Ryan Murphy production, the parts that are supposed to be "funny" are horrifying and the parts that are supposed to be "horrifying" are laughable.

Eh, as a director, Burton comes off as a somewhat overrated production designer to me. But then, that's only my opinion, such as it is.

I saw Escape from LA opening night with a bunch of people and we were all anticipating it - the total disappointment afterwards, ugh.

Escape from LA is the sequel nobody wanted. The CGI mattes are shitty compared to the on-location sets of the first movie; the effects are worse; the actors are worse; everything is just a shitty imitation of the first film.

The first "Masters of Horror" episode he directed was the best thing he'd done in a long time.
The second episode he directed…er, not so much. Not very good at all.
Though, now, the best thing he's done in a while since then is his album "Lost Themes", those are some great tracks.

CapadilDoc is different but he's the sort of Doctor this show could use, while certainly more “dark” than the previous two, he’s also not leaning into that “Oncoming Storm” thing that got so tedious. CapaldiDoc wasn't your goofy dad or your idealized geeky friend. Too bad he was in a season where every half-decent

Hey, GJ,I actually had some interesting links today, hopefully they can keep this run up and oh never mind.

"It doesn't take a big budget to make what I want to make, OK? We're not using Hollywood stars like Johnny Depp. John Depp isn't guaranteed to make more than thirty dollars on a movie anymore. Those days are done. He brings in maybe…uh…350 extra viewers these days because he just looks like a dope. He's got a mustache

HA HA! HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Aaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. :fiddles with tie:
