Whiskey Bay was filming on my street last week.  Apparently they needed a location with houses that looked like they were from the '80s and particularly one that could be used as a "drug house". Turns out, my 'hood fit that bill.  So, just so yall know, I'm fancy.

My neighbor gave me his username and password for HBOGo a month or 2 ago and its been heaven, esp not having to worry about getting an email from HBO for torrenting GoT or whatever.  Course he tells me today he's cancelling his HBO sometime this week since he's moving.  Boo-urns.

I love Neko Case and go to see her play whenever she's nearby.  And Kelly is one of my favorite parts about seeing Neko.  She is so funny, telling all kinds of jokes and stories to the audience in between songs (whereas Neko doesn't really interact too much with the audience).  Listening to this now on NPR…
