SPOILER: The disgraced Maester treating Jaime is Qyburn, straight from the books. He was stripped of his chain for dabbling in necromancy. He ends up in King's Landing serving Cersei and turning Gregor into a zombie-warrior. Scary shit.

My favorite part of this episode was Annie's wardrobe — awful Laura Ingalls Wilder dress accessorized with necktie she sports IRL versus the super-awesome yellow and gold flow-y sleeved imaginary dress. If I had a Dreamatorium, that's what I would wear. It's so silly it's fantastic. I'm sorely tempted to whip one…
WAY back in the first few episodes of season 1, Grantham discusses how smashing the entail would take an act of Parliment, and even then, only if the estate was in serious danger. Matthew CANNOT be the heir if he can produce no heirs himself; judging from the decimated state of the male population, I'm guessing it…
We are aware that the versions being shown on PBS are edited, right? Each episode has about 5 to 10 minutes cut out. That's why we miss characterizations about Sibyl and Edith and some of the other characters. Shame on PBS, really. What the hell?
"Laura, you're being too sexy. Here, now squeeze this whipped cream into your mouth." Um, okay.
I've been looking for the perfect Hogwarts Librarian costume for years! Who knew I'd find it on Tyra Banks?
I loved when Shawn says to Gus, trying to get to hang around, "I have difficulties with tonal shifts." So meta.
Lord help me, but I really like this show. Thus far I have refused to set up a series recording on my DVR, not willing to admit that, yes, I will yet again watch a teen drama on the CW. But it just keeps getting better. I have hope that Cassie will become less stupid with each passing episode. She's got a good…
Did Anya deserve to win Project Runway? Probably not. But did I cackle with maniacal glee when she beat out the "I went to fashion school so I'm better than you can ever be" twins? Hell yes. HELL YES. Mwhaaa-ha-ha-ha!!!
Actually, what Josh said on Governor's Island was that his brother's military experience drew him to the "artillerary". Yes, that's right — artillerary. I bet his bro is SO proud.
This show is so wonderfully silly! Please keep the reviews coming! Where else can I brag about finding pineapples?
We might not have seen Charles and Principal What's-Her-Face in the episode, but their motives were still alluded to in the "last time on" montage — Principal Lady saying "The circle will take care of that without even knowing it," or something to that effect. They're referring to the summoning of demons, right? …

Anyone else think they're setting up Skylar to buy not the car wash (though she could stubbornly cling to that plan) but her ex-boss's ex-lover's business? It's already a dirty business, Skylar knows that, and it would even come with an easily-manipulated "Danny".
The show ended EXACTLY as the book did — with dragon song filling the sky for the first time in hundreds of years. I thought that pull-back shot of Dany's camp and followers was great.
Kathy! Agreement — I assumed the celibacy thing was just a 12-stepper reference. They've definitely alluded to his ex-junkie status before.
Thanks for the link!!
The fact that the show hasn't left the family behind means they still have a connection to the crime. Take it as the clue that it is and move on.
Hmm, had not connected that, but I definitely thought the most important development in the case was that the killer had probably done this before — which I think points to Stan's mobbed-up past. The mayor's waterfront is almost certainly mobbed-up as well. Was this a hit? Maybe Linden was right when she…
I'm surprised
no one's mentioned the excellent novel "Alas, Babylon" by Pat Frank, which was one of the first post-apocalyptic novels (well, first post-nuclear, post-apocalyptic novels). It's great.
Just a little crowing . . .
I've been saying all season that what really needed to happen was for BILL to leave, not any of the wives. Without him, they're going to be fine. More than fine, they'll be great. I think the wives didn't leave Bill before not because they'd miss Bill, but because they loved each other…
