1. So, am I right in understanding the whole siege on the frozen island was a ruse? I think the Night King knew he could lure Daeny out there and pretended to not be able to take out John etc. just so he could get the dragon (Viserion?). Thoughts?

Disagree. Daenerys is going to succumb to madness. At that point Snow and Sansa are better choices.
?????
Dear Spider-Man,
Yup. And while I've seen couples make it through a death, I have not seen any survive a murder of a child. (I sadly know two families who lived through that.)
But see, Fantastic Four, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Fantastic Four (2015), and Elektra.
I'm probably the millionth person to say this, but I would LOVE for Jenkins to reunite with Theron soon. They're both next-level right now.
I'm only shocked because Anna Gunn is so capable in other roles. She couldn't land it, huh? Was it a tone issue? I could see her maybe not selling the "small town" aspect of the role.
I'm very sorry. That sounds awful all around.
Never watched it but why didn't Gracepoint work?
Those people must not know anyone who went through that. When I was in high school a good friend was murdered. Only child. Tragic. His parents' marriage unraveled in very similar ways. Very very sad.
Agreed. But, my recollection is that was basically true of all of the non-Wonder Woman comics until the late 1960s at the earliest. No?
Wut?
Yeah… I guess they've backed off a bit:
It will be VERY bad if Fields is acquitted. It's lucky (in the worst, saddest way) that he murdered a white woman. If he had murdered a black person, I would be more confident in the acquittal.
Lost in the chaos of Trump's stupid press conference this week was this: Trump affirmatively said that James Alex Fields could be a "murderer" or a "terrorist". He did that as a dodge to suggest he wasn't defending him. But that was (in my opinion) a colossally unprofessional move.
AFAIK, the Koch brothers really want him out. They have reasonably been boogeymen to the left for years, and it's telling that Trump is too much for them.
While I sympathize with you, I have a hard time sympathizing with them. I get that some of them have it rough (though, that does NOT explain the middle class and upper class supporters) but I can't quite excuse it even then. Ironically, I think the reality is that the Trump voter is the most entitled type of voter -…
Something we'll do nothing about, policy-wise. But it will be great grist for the Fox News mill! Whoo! Thank goodness for European terrorism - it helps keep the rage level of Trump's base on high without actual risk.
Barron, we can only hope.
