Since he remade 1977's Pete's Dragon I figured an old man bank robber movie had to be a remake of 1979's Going in Style! I thought that was a funny obscure observation. And then I noticed that there is actually a remake of Going in Style coming in 2017!

The book is accompanied with a 94 disc box set containing nothing but band intro music to be played while you read the book.

Candlepin bowling is awesome! Actually it did spread as far west as Ohio (as did duckpin bowling). The frustrating thing though is that it's much harder than it looks. Although you can use the pins that fall to help you knock the others down… accuracy is difficult because the ball is so small.

Haha. That's fair.
I don't know… to me it just seems either a) a phony act to continue to cash in on their multi-million dollar business and not really artistic or authentic or b) kind of sad in a 'gosh we graduated high school together 25 years ago and he still works at the arcade at the mall' kind of way. :)

Sure I can agree. But wouldn't 'being themselves' be being middle-aged millionaires at this point? I mean the cover of Rolling Stone shows 3 guys who look like Walmart middle-managers dressing up like something out of the Warriors for Halloween. It just seems so inauthentic to themselves… to the music they are

I really don't like Green Day. Billie can write a hook. Or at least he can repurpose a hook anyway and I give him credit for that.

Gene Simmons can have whatever opinion he wants. The world doesn't need to freak out at whatever that opinion is. Prince wasn't a freakin' saint you know? Who gives a crap if some people think less of him for how he died? Or for how he lived even?

My understanding was that Tom wanted to do a solo thing. Also I believe he had his own Yoko so to speak. He did try the solo thing for a while but it didn't work out. I was actually at a show in Ft. Lauderdale at a club to see CT before they released Lap of Luxury and saw Tom walk out of stage and freaked out. It

Jon Brant. He played with the band from the One on One tour through the Doctor album. He was a great sub! He also co-wrote "Tonight It's You" as well as some others.

Great to see so much Cheap Trick stuff! Here are 10 additional tracks that I think are some of their very best that haven't been mentioned in this article:
1. Such a Good Girl - from the Found All Parts ep this tune is my personal favorite. It touches all the points that make a great CT song… huge hooks in the

It actually is in Cleveland in some years. But you are right it was in New York this year.

I was actually in the audience waiting room at Harpo when the verdict was announced. We were scheduled to be on the 2nd show she taped that day and the first show was held over because the verdict was going to be read and they were going to do the first show about that.
In the room there were black and white people

The song "You Matter To Me" is the best of the bunch. It's a perfectly written/produced/performed bit of late 70s lite rock in the mode of Exile's "Kiss You All Over" or Atlanta Rhythm Section's "Imaginary Lover." It has that same kind of feel and was well suited to Peter's voice.
It was co-written by Vini Poncia who

Yeah I always thought 3 was a weird title for their 4th album. :) Mostly great album tough. "Nightmares" is just great. There are a few rockers I love on it but maybe the best stuff on the album are the ballads "Nothing Worth Living For" and "See My Ships."
I actually bought Blind after I knew the first 2 albums

Absolutely Hallowed Ground is pure genius. It's an album I can listen to again and again. It has the same sort of energy as the debut but it's heavier and far weirder. One of my favorite albums of all time.
I do think that they've done some great things since then though especially parts of 3 and Birds… but none of

Regardless of how one might not like RHCP or Coldplay… to report this as some sort of badge of honor is to show how utterly black our souls have become.

Maybe I'm hallucinating but I swear that by season 8 little Sam was bigger than Arnold… which was confusing. I think they even addressed it in a very special episode (then again… every episode of that show was very special).

CBS Head of Development: "Ok… she's a sassy black chick with a chip on her shoulder. But she's not a kid. She's a woman. Or better yet… a womyn! And she doesn't go by Nancy. Wait… her name ISN'T even Nancy. It's Nan C. No… it's Nancee. How about N'ancee' or Nanacay? Run this by that black guy in the mail room

Here are some examples for for you. And next time you use the term 'straw man' without having a clue what you are talking about perhaps just sing 'If I Only Had a Brain' to yourself instead.

It's infuriating to me in fact that folks find this to be such a great movie. And to be honest… it's the death of Bowie that has really made it quite clear that very few people even really followed his career in any real way at all.
