I think the movie is funny and part of the reason is because of how it's paced. I mean when it comes down to it Halloween is mostly a very boring movie with some big excitement here and there. Same with all those type of films. In a way it's similar to the comedy of SCTV. Much of that show was able to get laughs…

I'd vote for that. And people not killing each other. And not hurting each other generally would be good. But evil sh!theads are out there. Be safe.
