I don't know what POC means. Of course I know racism exists. What I was originally saying is that a black person who hates a white person for being white to me would be racist. But the comments here based on what Pauly Punk said in this stupid hatesongs article, is that there is no such thing as 'reverse racism.'

So what is the efficient way to fix the problem then? What are your non band-aid suggestions?

Asking questions is educating oneself isn't it? If you possess the magic book on race issues, post a link. I ask people about music, movies, etc. all the time. Isn't that sort of one of the cool things about the internet? Aside from being dismissively superior in a comments section that is.

Yeah but working to dismantle… isn't that what one does when they try to just be cool and not prejudiced? I get that the system is definitely unfair like you said about the criminal justice system. But to me that seems more class related than race although they often go hand in hand.

Ok. Maybe I will try to find something. But are white people always in power? Like even the Honey Boo Boos of the world? A system can only be racist if it has racist people in it. Wouldn't it be simpler to just say 'hey man be nice to each other and don't be prejudiced?' Seems to make more sense to me than

Thanks for the explanation. But… what's the difference when speaking of individuals? I mean I get a system can be racist. But based on what you said, then individuals can't be racist and that doesn't seem right.

Honky. It is a comical word to me. But it's still not very nice. Is there some sociological or historical reason to allow some people not to be nice to others? It always amazes me how seemingly intelligent people get bent out of shape about even suggesting 'reverse racism' or something. Is it possible for black

I feel like avclub doesn't really get this show at all. Last year every review went on about Walker Texas Ranger. Chris Elliott himself in a recent interview said the show may have started with that as a jumping off point but it has nothing to do with being a parody of that show. It's something else entirely. Each

The Temptations one was great! But also pretty goofy! And the Jackson 5… oh boy was that goofy! Freddie Boom Boom! Both were awesome though. Honestly you just can't do it as a made-for-tv thing and have it not come off as somewhat ridiculous. But I love them. All of them. I don't even need to like the group.

This sounds great and perfect for a biopic. They are all supposed to be hokey with bad lip synching, etc. The greatest music movie biopic performances ever are Kurt Russell shooting his tv as Elvis and best supporting actor for Anthony Michael Hall as Mutt Lange in the Def Leppard biopic. Great stuff! What do you

I loved this song as a very little kid when it was a radio hit.

Also for the record he didn't actually fire his band at this point. Wings was still a band until as late as 1982. They just weren't active. But the Tug of War album started as a Wings project and Denny Laine is on many of the tracks.

McCartney II is one of the best things he has ever done. With nothing but pure imagination, a sh*tload of weed and a drive to create… he made some of the most amazing music ever made. And yeah… some people don't like it (Wonderful Christmastime came from the same period). Well you know what? There is plenty of

I did not see this episode and know nothing about it.

Speaking of famous people who get violently angry… where is the story about Chris Brown losing his virginity at age 8!??!?  He actually claims this (which I believe means he was molested).

Are you saying he lacks 'gravitas?'

BROTHER VOODOO!!!

He should do "Now It's My Move" a sequel to his beloved (a/k/a little known) sitcom from the 80s "It's Your Move."

This is an A and MGMT is a D.  Ok.  Now I know that avclub has the musical taste of a 10 year old girl.

Great episode.  I was laughing out loud (literally… not lol-ing) the whole time.  Awesome to have the show back.  And that's awesome you got to go to the set Will!
