Episode 5 will feature Diane shopping for a nice pants suit at Sears when she makes eye contact with a mannequin of a child wearing Huskies corduroy and a Garanimals top and belt.  Her attraction is immediate and she goes over to the boys section to introduce herself.  Although communication is difficult at first and

I'll tell you what's wrong… the cast wasn't funny unless you were some goofy kid who liked juvenille stuff like Wayne's World.  It was all just straight up bad sitcom territory and they stayed like for a very long time.  That cast still gives me chills.

I watched Saturday Night Live since I was about 6 years old.  My favorite season was when I was about 9.  The 80s seasons were really hit and miss.  But this particular season was awful.  And personally I didn't like the 88-89 season either.

So are we to believe that Kyle thought that pool sex scene in Showgirls was going to look anything but utterly ridiculous?  I mean… filming that scene he had to have some idea right?  Great scene though.

A half great episode.  The Parker Posey death and the whim trip to China seemed completely unnecessary and somewhat illogical.  It was like the first part of the episode was done by a master comedian, storyteller and filmmaker and the ending was outsourced to an NYU film student.

Well to me that is both a strength and a real weakness of the show.  Because when the artiness works for the story, it's great.  But when it doesn't… it feels pretentious or showy without paying off.  That's how I feel about at least a couple episodes this season (hello Boston Harbor).

Mumford and Sons appeals to both an older crowd (who may buy Green Day and No Doubt as well) and a new generation lacking all imagination while longing for something authentic.  In 15 years, that generation will help Mumford and Sons sell 174,000 copies AND help Honey Boo Boo's debut record reach double-platinum.

You really like Louie!  It's a good show.  But I don't really see how it is wildly different than other shows.  Yeah Louie's brand of humor is pretty specific in tone.  But there are other examples of shows that were intelligent and had pathos or whatever.  Larry Sanders, The Office even Cheers.  Many, many more too.

If she changed the lyrics to "L-U-V Obama" that would be an endorsement that would almost make sense.
