Definitely.  Especially with the Looking On album.

Electric Light Orchestra… I think they pretty much started out as a prog band actually.  The first 3 albums are pretty proggy.  Especially the 2nd and 3rd ones.  As time went on the pop songs started getting more and more space but… it's definitely rooted in prog.

Question:  I've heard that this show is a direct parody of Walker, Texas Ranger.  Have you heard about that?

I bought Paul Simon's One Trick Pony from them.  Glad to own it even with it's bare bones-i-ness.  I still don't get why that movie didn't get much love… and seemingly never was re-evaluated.  Year of Flops of Whatever… get on it!

Fun episode.  I liked Mike's wedding speech.  "We're all going to die."  Ha.

There isn't much known about it.  Apparently it was going to be a little like Close Encounters of the Third Kind… but with Wings.

I don't agree that Paul was a bully.  That's how he has been portrayed.  But really he was just driven… like John had been before he sort of checked-out through LSD and later Yoko.  He was the most in love with being a Beatle and probably would never have left or broken up the band if it had been up to him.

Broad Street is fascinating.  It's not good.  But it sort of secretly broadcasts McCartney's depression and creative bankruptcy of the mid-80s.  The albums Tug of War and Pipes of Peace were mostly comprised of songs Paul wrote for Wings between 1979-80 with some others thrown in.

I think this was my favorite episode of the new season.  It was so ridiculously packed and fast-paced… and the concept of killing actors and animating them with strings to get them to be in his movie was the stuff of 80s slasher films.  So, so creepy!  And hysterical.

The problem with Ted was that he joined the cast of 2 formerly huge television shows (Happy Days and Love Boat) that really weren't very good.  They were hugely popular and they were practically event television for people of a certain age.  But aside from Happy Days first season or 2… the show ran out of gas really

That's true!
