Cocoon - he really loves that movie eh?
I'll bet if he did make Cocoon, it would have been funnier. And less life-affirming. And… well probably less financially successful.

Retooling
They should retool this show. You know? Get some new tools.
Plus the 6,000 years joke was funny because he said "…and not a day more." That's the humorous part.
You guys are nuts. This was a CARTOON not a Civics class.
He wrote some great episodes of Ironside.
Also let's give it up for Rip Tide!
He's no Irene Cara either.
You know me twogreattastes. Or do you?
Do they really? No wonder I get so many emails about new psychotropic drugs.
How does Facebook make money?
Do they sell my information to wealthy vampires or something? Anybody have pie chart to reference?
I'm sorry I'm making 'hay' of this situation. But Mike was a great cellist and did play on songs that are still very popular including the transcendent "Showdown."
Well if one of the Menudos was killed by a freak bail of hay smashing into his car, then yes I'd hope the AV Club would consider covering it!
That was a good Phil line. Phil knows what's what.
Tony Curtis who also died introduced ELO in 1978 during their performance in London and in Los Angeles. But AV Club didn't mention that either did they?
I've never heard of this comedian myself
But AV Club writes 2 news stories about him so he must have been pretty special. Unlike the late Mike Edwards from ELO who died in a most bizarre way that received zero attention here. But he wasn't on Comedy Central was he?
I forgot about the Boston Strangler! Good one.
Favorite Tony Curtis movie
Mine is Boeing Boeing.
I thought Harris sounded more like the Beatles Cartoon version of John (i.e. Burgermeister Meisterburger) than real John. But that's just part of what makes it funny. I liked Aiden Quinn's scarves. So Wings Over America of him. Man I love that stupid movie.
John Lennon
Two of Us. Funniest movie about the Beatles ever (unintentionally).
You are right wrecksracer. Bon Jovi. Oof.
Ha! Those singles are basically the end of the line for that band. But yeah… awful. Still… how many awful late singles were released by any number of people currently inducted in the Hall of Fame? It's incredible how bad some of that stuff is.
