@fastandsloppy: That's a fair point about the meaning of the film and about using the split personality as a device to demonstrate Norton's feelings of helplessness.
@Evan/Uhhh: I think that's what the movie was going for, but it spends so much time glorifying the violence that the ending feels like a cheat. Maybe it's also the fact the no one I know took the Tyler Durden worship as ironic. They all thought starting real Fight Clubs would be a great idea.
"Ziskin has a lot of impressive credits, but Bob is a footnote among the Fight Clubs."
It had to have been Frey. There's no way he could've kept Henley down.
I haven't watched it in so many years. It'd be interesting to see how it would hold up today, barring things like the special effects, which would obviously be dated.
I used to love that show when I was a kid. Ah the memories.
Raisin Bran cracks me up. It contains more sugar than practically any of the junk-food cereals, but is somehow perceived as healthy because it has bran in the name.
I just picked up Deathbird Stories a couple days ago. I've been meaning to delve into Ellison and heard it was his best collection.
And also probably attempt to grope MGM's dirty pillows….

VHS Still Alive and Well
I'm holding on to my VCR for dear life. Tivo is great, but I still can't get past paying a recurring fee simply for the privilege of using the device. Likewise, building a computer just to record television shows seems a bit silly and wasteful.

Whoops, meant Byers not buyers. Double-typo fail for me.

Frohike and Langly
One of the things I've always liked about this episode is how it plays off the rivalry and constant one-upsmanship between Frohike and Langly that's present from the very beginning.
This could actually work
A lot of people seem to be bemoaning the return of Beavis & Butthead, not so much around here where we love the little bastards, but many other sites across the vast interwebs.
Yeah, Pam's reaction to the ring was my favorite line of the episode. Totally unexpected and awesome like Kelly's reaction to first seeing Timothy Olyphant.

Don't get me wrong, the store I worked at was nice too generally speaking.
