I worked over at store 363 in Mt. Prospect a little under a decade ago.

Not sure how to feel about this
Working there was soul crushing, degrading, and often absolutely insane, especially when the store used to stay open till 1:00 a.m. on weekdays.

Now I've got this weird image in my head of Sheela-Na-Gig blasting out over the speakers at Linens 'N Things and everyone throwing around the sheets and pillow cases with wild abandon.

Other PJ Harvey Writing
Has any of her poetry or short stories been released? I looked around a bit, but couldn't find anything.

The is awesome. I absolutely adored all the original Jack games up through Ride and still have the Q, B, P stickers affixed to my old Mac's keyboard.

Original Arthur
I wasn't aware that the original Arthur with Moore was some beloved cinematic treasure.

Gone from Watch Instantly
And of course the moment the NCC article goes up the movie vanishes from Netflix Watch Instantly.

Right Place Right Time
The VHS tape was one of the few modern movies available at my local library when I was a kid and I instantly fell in love with it. I continue to adore the movie as does everyone I know who saw it growing up, but every time I've tried to introduce it to someone new, even someone in the same age

Lets try this again….

Not Sure It'll Be Good…
But at least it seems to actually be about women in a mental institution, rather than merely using that backdrop as an excuse to spew out every junior-high-male masturbatory fantasy ever conceived.

I love that Bourdain slags off both the network and the sponsors in his writeup.

-The Pixies
-The White Stripes
-David Bowie
-Dresden Dolls

Finally Good Again
After slogging through the lack-luster season 7, a skillful though ultimately boring season 2 of Masters and the intriguing, but flawed Just Desserts, it's nice to have a Top Chef worth watching again.

Good Stuff
Great cover of a great song. Nothing more to say.

@Violet

Lindsey Buckingham?
I guess this was after his Fleetwood Mac days. Nice cover in any event

Add my name to this list of supporters! This was my favorite show in high school and after recently revisiting the show via DVD I think it holds up remarkably well.
