Would that Billy B was there for Laganja. Would've very much enjoyed a professional dress-down on that mug.

That was some clever shit! "I think I'll just wait for Bianca to be the bitch again, thanks."

I love Joslyn, but I feel like she should have been in the bottom instead of Trinity. Trinity's runway was great; Joslyn fucked up on both fronts (the runway might have been her worst yet). It just felt like they were done with Trinity's arc, so, sashay away.

It does sound like people were not particularly offended by "She-Mail" before the "Female or Shemale" bit. At least, that's where Carmen Carrera stood. I admit even I was wincing at the "Female or Shemale" one and praying that they wouldn't show an actual trans person, and I can be a bit clueless about that stuff.

That's pretty standard for a new season of Mad Men, the onus is on the viewer to fill in the gaps of the missing time.

Yeah, I definitely thought the joke was that that sandwich sounded like a gross abomination. Definitely a statement on Pete's relationship with New York, that his homesickness remedy was the cheesy, inauthentic interpretation.

He wrote "Dead Dove Do Not Eat," what else were you expecting?

Dorne has made a pretty great impression so far. I hope we see more of it and more Dornish people.

I found the sequence of Joffrey mocking Tyrion excruciating, and not in the intended sense. Repetitive and not particularly enlightening about either character. Could've been half as long and been equally effective.

If Alana suspected him of being the Chesapeake Ripper or an accomplice I'm pretty sure she would have mentioned that rather than just his attempt on Hannibal. That would be like hating Hitler for being a bad boyfriend.

And if Will truly is the manipulative mastermind they believed him to be, and if he just last week had a killer-by-proxy working for him out of the hospital, couldn't he have orchestrated that from behind bars? Although I'll admit that's much more "fridge logic" to me, and didn't bother me as I was watching the show.

Now that you mention it, I would like it a lot if they give her that perspective just slightly too late. That might be a good character beat. (Slightly too late not meaning when it's revealed by Jack and Will, but maybe too late to salvage her friendship with Will?)

TERRIBLE

Well I just spent an embarrassingly long time finding this gif, but I'm glad a new generation of baby dykes will get a disturbing crush on Katharine Isabelle. http://24.media.tumblr.com/…

Jesus, is she playing gay? 16-year-old me just went weak in the knees.

I don't know. They learned that Will is completely innocent of all he's been accused of, that he was falsely imprisoned and framed and almost executed at their hand, and they barely seemed to give a fuck. Maybe when they find out about Hannibal they'll just be going about their next MOTW like nothing happened.

On an emotional level, I get that, and I buy her defensiveness of Hannibal. I don't think that she would be so illogical, though. She always seemed like a good doctor and a thoughtful person — her actions this episode could not be less of both.

"Hannibal, finally! We waited until you got here to look at the scene of the crime."

He did fall on his ass pretty quickly, didn't he?

Yeah. I don't want to be a lone raincloud and I very much enjoyed most of the episode (getting overlooked in the Chilton mania is that gorgeous scene with the growing tree man), but Alana's characterization seems way too convenient.
