@L-o-l-a: I don't think sins have anything to do with it; Catholic purgatory and Supernatural Purgatory don't mix. Humans with redeeming qualities go to Heaven, those without go to Hell and may eventually be turned into demons. Purgatory is for "monsters" exclusively; except for the Leviathans and maybe a few things

Sex-based breakdowns aren't released regularly (though they may on occasion be mentioned in a press release), so I can't comment on that.

Hate to disillusion you, but total viewers don't mean shit. Advertisers are interested in a specific demographic (adults 18-49 in ABC's case), which means the networks are interested in a specific demographic. Whether that's stupid on their part and whether the measurement system is adequate is a whole different

@avclub-5fdbaa11bd42c308322756f60f43785f:disqus - Bones is a Fox show (produced and aired); it has nothing to do with ABC (other than Bones being a few years older and hitting many of the same relationship story points slightly earlier than Castle).

Also, Party Down. You see his schlong in that one (or at least *a* schlong attached to Mr Marino).

Pretty sure The Big Heat is a (late) Academy ratio film. Mike was watching it in widescreen. He deserved to die.

Convenient for the insider trader, sure. Keep your friends close, and the Wikileaks closer. So that arrangement makes a certain amount of sense.

In that conversation, Patty was also lying about never seeing her father again (the show did finally admit that guy in the nursing home was her father, right?). So…

I'd agree that there is probably too great an emphasis on dreams/hallucinations this season. I'm getting a little tired of them. On the other hand, the reason behind this is pretty clear: now that Ellen and Patty are finally going toe to toe with each other, with no pretensions regarding what they really want to do
