He's the best part of My Cousin Vinny and Pet Sematary (and I like both those movies well enough); despite the fact that PS's Jud has been parodied possibly hundreds of times, it never seems silly or cheesy watching Gwynne play that part.

Dogs can be people too! Especially if it's a dachsund wearing a cute little hat.
We did have Jimmy McMillan running for governor of NY, and if you dig around in local politics you'll find people like perennial Memphis mayoral candidate Prince Mongo of Zambodia.
"audiences have reason to be pissed at him for introducing a style so easily aped but so easy to do wrong."
Never blame someone who did something well for a lot of people following by doing it poorly.
Is your spoiler really even a spoiler?
Please keep making fun of Ja Rule until the Ja Rule action movie era ends, which if I'm not mistaken is around next installment.
Thanks!
I could have liked this movie OK enough, but I had a roommate at the time who played it every goddamn Saturday morning. It is not at all a movie that holds up to weekly viewings for the better part of a year.
He doesn't have the kind of charisma that shines through any old shit (like say, The Rock has). But put him in a role that fits, like this one or Riddick, and he clicks in a way that a lot of objectively better actors wouldn't.
"I'm kind of surprised he hasn't tried his hand at pro wrestling, which
requires many of the same skills and inherent abilities as he brings to
most of his roles."

Try telling "jif" people that. They don't listen.
Or, "no offense intended, but [fuck you]"
I'm going with jerk store!
'gift' and 'girl' aren't exceptions: they don't come from Latin (classical or otherwise). People who insist on the soft G because I (and I actually know a couple of these people and they're infuriating) are basing it on language rules that don't even apply.
Soft G argument
2. 'G' is soft when followed by an 'E' or an 'I' in Latin-based languages.
Doesn't change the results, GTFO Latin apologists
"Congratulations team “Jif, like the peanut butter,”
Nope. Just nope. Some principles are just too deeply held to let go of just because some doofus happens to coincide with you.
It's close to one, I guess ("The Colour Out of Space")? I mean, the band name is a UFO reference, so it seems like the kind of thing Grohl might be into.
Just shooting wildly in the dark, but Lovecraft?
Seeing the original in the theater with my mom and cousin. I was three at the time, and I can still remember seeing Luke and Leia swing across the chasm in the Death Star on the big screen. Runner-up: playing Empire with my kindergarten best friend even though he hadn't seen it yet.
That's his grandfather.
