I don't like Piano Man either, but this is not any kind of analysis—its barely coherent. Harmonicas and accordions are fine, but ok, he doesn't like them. Taking personal shots at an artist because you don't like his work is not fine. All in all, I find this article pretty much incomprehensible.
Compare and contrast Marciano's portrayal of Billings with his Virgil on Homeland. The subtle was he can be totally supportive or undermining of his peers, lovable or despicable, is why I'm such a fan.
Same with Anthony Anderson. The traits he brings to Antwan are so similar to the ones he used on Law & Order, but…
life is unfair
I'm excited for Battlestar Gallactica. Callum Keith Rennie as Leoben = awesome
All that Jazzy Jeff-The Neighbors
Pontiac Bandit-Brooklyn Nine Nine
The Grand Experiment-Elementary
Anniversary Ball-Raising Hope
The chickens were given to a petting zoo or some such thing. It was in dialog a few eps ago. They still have Clyde and the bees, unseen by us.
They're a third of the ensemble, so yeah, you're going to see Leonard/Penny.
Beverly is despicable. She has been shown repeatedly to have abused and neglected Leonard throughout his life. This makes her a more complex character? Not at all, it just makes her a monster. Some monstrous characters can also be funny, but she just isn't. The way this character has been created makes me seethe.
Sherlock berates Mycroft. Mycroft embraces Sherlock. "I love you brother." I got teary.
I understand the criticism of the season in this review, but this show is so good at the emotional underpinnings of Sherlock's behavior that I'm willing to give it more slack. This was good stuff.
he's the cool grandpa
I could be ok with them as a couple if I never had to listen to their pillow talk again. Bleech.
poor Raj is still sad that she preferred Howard
I like Victor, and I think he and Miles should become buddies and share their wisdom with their sibs some more.
1) Tim Meadows is adorable
2) "sit your ass down, Miles"
3) the caption as Ryan speaks French "I don't speak French."
Bad guy shoots accomplice without warning, but when Boss bad guy gives the kill order for Joan and Mycroft everybody stands around for a while so Mycroft gets a chance to give his backup code !?!? One of my most hated clichés.
you think Howard and Bernadette are pretty much the same? Bernadette has changed tremendously from demure girlfriend to tough partner for Howard.
given that Dahlia has proven to be a contract negotiating savant, a viral video star, and past champion child pageant winner, I would have expected her life calling to be a little farther afield than belts, but okay, whatever.
Tessa took up Alana solely to act as a spoiler, not to do something good for Alana herself. I agree that winning wouldn't have made Alanna a bully, but the character showed an awareness of the status quo from the beginning—-and more to the point, an acceptance of it. Tessa wasn't paying attention to her protégé…
I watched the series, didn't see the first film, and rented the second film primarily because Callum Keith Rennie was in it. (Using the same bogus Russian accent as in 24, may I add. Why have a Canadian play a Russian?) I subsequently saw an interview with CKR where he said that running around in the snow with…
