I don't think it's a happy ending, but I do think the episode presents it as one. I found that disappointing.

That would've been a lot more interesting than what they actually did with it.

Well, that explains it. Whatever was originally planned had to have been better.

Preachers do pay income tax.

Watts in The Impossible really seems to be overlooked. I didn't expect much from that movie, but she was really really good.

That'd be Brad Bird.

I agree. I think Edwards does a good job of showing you what you want, but presenting it in a slightly different way.

I liked that the tasks during the final act weren't ridiculously complicated or contrived. Get the message, send it out, try not to die. It didn't require the characters to become superhuman or expert hackers; they were mostly just soldiers.

That whiny guy from the prequels and Darth Vader are supposed to be the same person. Just boggles the mind.

You're not missing anything; it's not a good movie. Don't listen to anyone who says otherwise.

I vote B; bit of a disappointing episode.

I think if it doesn't matter who is in the field, then we shouldn't see who is in the field.

I thought she was fine for the season, but out of place in the final scene.

Holy cow, this thing was melodramatic.

I dunno about that, but I don't think I need to see more of her. Contrary to the reviewer, I think she's pretty bland.

Huh. I've only ever heard of this guy and always thought he was Black. Looks like I was thinking of Van Jones - who is apparently a very different person.

That certainly seems to be the case. They always tell you to be careful what you put in an email because you never know where it might wind up (e.g., our recent election). I don't think that's how it should be, but I guess that's how it is.

Yeah; turns out I was wrong. I went back and listened to all of them and didn't care for most of them. I thought the Cohen song was good and I liked the one by Angel Olsen and Radiohead. That's pretty much it, though.

Whatever, man.

We don't know who she is; none of us actually know her. Regardless, I don't subscribe to this ends justify the means approach.
