That movie was bad.

Oh, certainly. I'm not as down on his later movies as a lot of folks, but I certainly get the sentiment you're expressing.

Given this statement in the review, "…perhaps her composure has made Trump seem more appealing to some voters," I'd definitely say the reviewer doesn't really get it. I mean, her composure? That's a pretty generous description of some of the problems people have with Clinton. I believe the word he was looking for was

"Justin Lin spent four years (and three eclectically named sequels)…"

I really liked Red Road and her version of Wuthering Heights.

It's not his only good-looking movie, though, so I think it's okay to give Shyamalan some credit there.

I give Shymalan credit for the look of his films. Checking his cinematographers, he's worked with a few different ones and only a couple seem noteworthy. His most frequent DP is Tak Fujimoto. Fujimoto doesn't appear to have made anything remotely as visually interesting as Sixth Sense or Signs. He also did a lot of

Oh, goodness no. I thought it was one of the most worthless films I've ever seen, utterly devoid of value.

I had a similar experience when discussing Inception with a friend. I felt a little bad about it, but I was right, so not that bad.

The original Fly and Oceans 11 for me, easily. I actually re-watched The Fly remake again recently and I still don't see it as being superior to the original. I initially preferred The Thing From Another World too, but have come around on the remake. Otherwise, I apparently need to watch more movies b/c I've only seen

Weird. I lived in the dorms and was allowed to register at my out-of-state location if I chose. I chose not to.

Oh, man he has the opposite effect on me. His presence beyond a cameo will make me forgo a movie or show.

My favorite part was how all the kids used social media to share their kind thoughts about the girl who left social media, while sitting right next to her. It always gets me how people send personal/individual messages to the world. A while back I saw where LeBron James wanted to thank Tim Duncan for something. Rather

Maybe? I've never heard of her. According to imdb I've seen two movies she's been in, but I don't recognize her.

I could do this for a solid hour.

For what it's worth, I'm not familiar with the comic books and I really liked it as well. I also liked Man of Steel, though, so I guess these movies are just in my wheelhouse.

"Although it won’t help the legions of Star Wars fans who already did a spit take all over their monitors…"

Oh yeah. I really enjoyed The Unbeatable Banzuke. It was fun seeing the occasional crossover in contestants from Ninja Warrior. I wish the Japanese version of Ninja Warrior was still aired in the US.

"It doesn’t offer anything a scoop of ice cream wouldn’t."

I felt the same way about Unforgiven. I've thought about re-watching it just because it got so much praise, but I never have. My life has been just fine.
