I thought it was somewhere in between. More than a couple, but not as widespread as some think. I saw a documentary about it a couple years ago (Biography, maybe?), but my memory is fuzzy.

My dad thought it was the greatest and was very excited when he found it for sale as an adult. I tried it and thought it was gross.

I never finished because I couldn't stand, well, pretty much the whole thing. She was especially bad, though. Guess not much has changed.

That Fight Club dvd is great. It also just looks really nice on the shelf. I hate the look of blu-rays. They're all bright blue, with really cheap, thin plastic that cracks easily. On the whole, my dvds are for more visually appealing than my blu-rays. Criterion seems to be the only company putting out blu-rays that

Ignoring problems and repeating mistakes has nothing to do with capitalism; it's just humans pretty much since forever.

This book is the worst. I'll never understand how it's considered so highly.

I honestly can't ever remember hearing it. It's the #2 definition on Urban Dictionary, though, so there ya go.

Agreed. Still, the movie is incredibly directed. The two scenes on the porch between Phoenix and Howard (their whispered argument and her waiting for him as the monster approaches) are beautiful. The latter is honestly one of my favorite movie moments.

My sister and I would always say, "now get it right or pay the price," but couldn't remember why. It was only a few years ago that I finally remembered it was from this show. About the only other things I remember from the show are that giraffes have black tongues and the redheaded kid did puzzles picture-side down.

I didn't even know there was original artwork. That really is better.

Yeah, I don't know. He was 19 in 2007, but if he was 14 when the crimes occurred, then I could see it being sealed regardless (plus, the victims). Honestly, I'm surprised the police report wasn't completely sealed or destroyed given that the perpetrator and victims were all minors.

Aren't family services investigations generally sealed? They're involving minors and the public's need to know doesn't extend to kids, right?

Without the actual details, it's all speculation so I don't think we can say what it means. Was it during the investigation or after? During might indicate interference; after might indicate disagreement over the findings (which is what the article says). Either way, there might be reasonable reasons for the appeal.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding your post, but that's not how I read the article. It says the suit was likely an appeal of the findings, not a suit over the fact that there was an investigation.

That's just a great picture.

Other than Jackman, I didn't think either movie was good. I thought X2 was laughably bad; I could barely stand to sit through the whole thing in the theater. I pretty much gave up after that.

That was really disappointing, Internet.

Good analysis of the show (and the reviews). I really enjoyed the show, but the reviews were a tedious chore. I got a lot more out of the comments.

Mr. Toad's Wild Ride is gone at Disneyworld. (I've never been to Disneyland so I don't know if it's there.)

I liked Ghost Protocol. I thought Incredibles was okay, but unremarkable. I didn't care for Ratatouille (I know I'm pretty much the only one); I thought it was a bit facile.
