The coverage of that men's cross country race was especially frustrating. They showed the first 45 minutes of the race live and then after a commercial break they started showing a replay of women's speed skating. They'd already shown the entire event live earlier in the morning. Why have a replay of an event you've

The Dutch were just so excited; it was great. A few years ago at
the Disney Marathon there were some Dutch folks running and they had an
ample cheering section, all decked out in orange and waving their flags.
It was pretty fun. My wife surmised that maybe the Dutch are the Texans

Saw it coming, but it was still creepy and effective.

And he was so in there, too. Guess everybody's going to be hating Patrick now.

Pretty sure they're Silverchair-esque.

I disagree with the reviewer harping on "extreme coincidences" regarding the killer. I didn't find there to much coincidental about it at all. If anything, it seemed to be the opposite of a coincidence.

I liked the last sequence better when I saw it in 25th Hour. Given how great that movie (and particularly that sequence) was, the Six Feet Under ending fell a bit flat for me.

Or better yet, don't watch any American Idol-type shows.

I think it was implied that Ted had made a pass at Skyler (I think Marie described him as handsy). I think that was the reason she left the job the first time.

I was momentarily afraid that they would use the heart/panic attack to waylay Hank, which would have been a weak contrivance. Instead they went in the exact opposite direction - couldn't believe that we got that confrontation in the first episode. Outstanding work.

You should listen to your wife.

I think your perception of the CGI is correct. They did a lot of stunt work. For instance, what I recall from one of the behind-the-scenes features on the movie, when Spider-Man is swinging down the road, on the bridge, that was "real," not CGI. I found it refreshing.

Yes, it was.

Yes, it was.

Yes, it was.
